[quote author=042viber12 post=75883203] U are not alone...applied July 18...nothing yet...is your application on eligibility review or background check? Cos I have been on eligibility review for 3months now[/quo This is what they sent to me below when I contacted them and what do u mean by eligibility review? We write in reply to your email. As indicated on our website, the processing times provided are based on how long it took to process 80% of all applications during that time period and are subject to change. As these processing times refer to 80% of applications, some applications will fall outside of these timeframes. In addition, as they are an average, there will be some fluctuations in processing times at peak periods during the course of the year. That being said, please be assured that your application has been received and is currently in active process and we are making every effort to complete processing as expeditiously as possible. As soon as processing is completed we will contact you. |

Please guys, what advice can you give me, please.. You guys gave me advice to apply for colleges since my GP is low. I contacted my Canadian uncle about it, he said it will be more easy for me to get permanent stay if I apply and finish in a Canadian University but he doubts or doesn't know if it will be easy for me to get permanent stay through a college! Horlamidei: Search for colleges, apply and get admission...den come back and ask questions about your visa... University or college, u are eligible to get a permanent residency in either of the two... 2 Likes 1 Share |

Horlamidei: Hi Horlamidei, I strongly doubt your uncle's assertions. Be well informed that so long as you graduated from a designated learning institution in Canada whether university or College, you're absolutely qualified to apply for PGWP which is a pathway to your Permanent residency. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Hello guys, I’m thinking of applying to a Canadian school for my MSc in Artifical Intelligence. I finished from a Federal University with a Bsc in Computer science and CGPA of 3.65. I’ve gotten a lot of view from people buh I still don’t know the next step to take. 1. Can I secure admission with my Gp? 2. Should I try PGD ? 3. Should I redo my BSC. 4. Any other recommendation. Thanks in advance |

Hi, You would have to go to the UMGF section on the UoM website to find this out yourself. And if you're still not sure, you could call or email them. Tvickie: 1 Like |

When one graduates from some colleges and universities they are eligible to Post Graduate Work Permit (PGWP). It is the institution you will look up to know if they offer PGWP eligible programs. You can check the CIC link below. Input the province or territory and check if the university or college offers such. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/study-canada/study-permit/prepare/designated-learning-institutions-list.html After you've decided on a course of study, you can apply to anyone with YES indicated. Also, because your CGPA was very low, maybe you should consider another undergraduate degree if you're finding it hard to get a master's admission. I hope this helps. Horlamidei: 2 Likes 1 Share |

StacieG:Hello so sorry about this, first work on ur SOP again give them facts and figures on why you are going to Canada, what you stand to gain when you complete the course and of what benefit it will be to your country, then work on your bank statement. You might need to defer your course till September |

CodeBlooded:Check memorial Newfoundland, royal roads or Ryerson University if you will find your course if not do PGD |
