Yes I had 2:2 and I got my visa already. Go through my past posts. This platform was helpful in sourcing information. But alot of people are not aware of how they can secure admission with strong 2:2 which makes them settles for Diploma. Determinedsoul: |

In addition to the schools already mentioned (Check Ontario colleges like Seneca, Sheridan, George Brown etc. They offer advanced courses in Social services, community development etc,) also check Humber college, Confederation college I know has advance diploma in business admin (They gave me admission last year, give them a short). nalizzzy: The funds in your mom's account is insufficient. I'll advice you tell your mom to deposit more funds into her account or source for additional assistance from someone i.e by getting a co-sponsor to improve your application financial sufficiency. |

Christty: Unfortunately, I don't think there are any colleges in Canada that doesn't require an application fee. You're ought to pay for an application fee before your application for admission will be accepted and accessed by the admission department of the school. 1 Like |

Greetings to everyone on this platform. I have been a a follower of this thread for some time now and have been continually astonished at the level of relevant information being passed here and by the help being rendered. I humbly wish to tap from the wealth of knowledge of everyone here. I am a graduate of Agricultural Economics from the the Federal University of Technology, Owerri. I completed my program October last year with a cumulative GPA of 4.40 and about 4.70 in my last two years of study. Currently, I work at my uncles company (we're into importation of household items) while waiting for service. I intend going for a masters in ag.econs in Canada, hopefully by September of 2020. From my research, I've found 2 schools which I plan on applying to (however, I intend adding one more to the list). They are: University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon and University of Alberta, Edmonton. NB: these schools specify that securing a supervisor before applying is not compulsory. Now, I have a few questions. 1. Can I apply to these schools without first securing a supervisor and still be considered for funding? 2. How competitive are the schools above and what are my chances of being admitted given my profile above? 3. I plan on begining my applications as early as possible against September next year. When will be considered too early or late to start forwarding my applications? I must also state that my clearance has not been fully completed due to the recently called off strike and as such my transcript and statement of result are not ready. I really do hope my story is not too long and boring. I await useful nuggets and guidelines from y'all in the house. Thank you in anticipation. |
