This is true. Nigeria GDP (PPP) is in trillion dollars. And in economics this is more revealing than GDP (Nominal). You know we dont spend dollars, we spend Naira here and since the GDP is calculated in dollars by using exchange rate which means the GDP (Nominal) is calculated in naira and converted to dollars. But in a situation whereby the US Standard Price in dollars is used for our goods... like how much our goods and services will cost if it were sold in US since the GDP is in dollars then according to GDP (Purchasing Power Parity) of Nigeria it is around $1 trillion.
Even when that of China was done it was more than that of US. But I know US wont like it and they would prefer GDP (Nominal) because they are leading in that one

GDP can either be calculated as nominal which is conversion of goods and services sold in local currency to US dollar or calculated as Purchasing Power Parity (PPP) which is calculating it as if the goods and services were sold directly in US Dollars in US. You can do the research yourself.

Experts said the Refinery will be capable of Refining Nigeria's consumption and Surpluses will be export outside the country, but typical Nigerian hater think he know better by just Hating any development. Sir do you know what is called economic activities? Population contributes in terms of market but not the main thing. If it were to be by population strictly countries like South Africa, Algeria, Morocco/Angola will not be in top 5 highest GDP in Africa.
