The Independent National Electoral Commission says 72, 775, 502 Nigerians now have Permanent Voter Cards. The INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmoud Yakubu, said this at a press conference in Abuja on Thursday. He said, “Out of 84, 004, 084 registered voters, 72, 775, 502 have PVCs” According to INEC, 11, 228, 582 PVCs remain uncollected as of today. Yakubu said all the uncollected cards had been deposited at the Central Bank of Nigeria. According to the commission, Lagos has the highest number of collected PVCs which stands at 5.5 million while Ekiti State with 666,591 cards has the lowest. https://punchng.com/breaking-72-7m-pvcs-collected-inec/ |

Please let it be on record that my PVC is missing in my local government in Abia state. I wanted to vote but INEC in their stu.pid way of doing things disfranchise me. I told them last time i visited i do not have such time to stand under the sun in the name of collecting PVC. 1 Like 1 Share |

When I said Southwest recorded lowest in in PVC collections, ignorance minds here were doubting me, tomorrow they will alleging Igbos don't know politics, that they are traders , only Lagos which is cosmopolitan state recorded 84%, Ondo 81%, Ogun 71% VP state , Osun 75%, Oyo 74%, Ekiti 73%, while in the southeast Enugu 91%, Ebonyi 88%, Abia 89%, Anambra 84%, Imo% 74% Southsouth, Akwa Ibom 91%, Rivers 88%, Delta, 86% Cross River 90%, Bayelsa 83% and Edo 78%, southwest is lowest in collection of PVCs across all regions11 Likes 4 Shares
