JEmma1:If you read carefully where that statement you made is extracted you will understand. However, what it means is that for every unit of united capital share you have you will get 30k if you hold it till the closure of their register. e,g if you own 1,000 units of united capital shares you get N300 gross and N270 less with holding tax. |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by kolaish(m): 6:19pm On Feb 21, 2019 |
JEmma1:Simply means: for every unit of ucap you are holding before the close of register of ucap (March 13, 2019) you will be paid 30k dividend. For example, if you are having 3,000 units, ie 3,000 x 30k = N900 dividend (exluding VAT). |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Plus10(m): 7:12pm On Feb 21, 2019 |
emmasoft:Thank you Sir,from the statement that read 50k per ordinary share what does that mean? |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by maishai: 7:42pm On Feb 21, 2019 |
Plus10: 50k is the base or original price of the stock...........According to the company, a 50k stock earned you a dividend of 30k.......Dont forget you obtained your stock from the secondary market(NSE), so you definitely bought your stock @ a higher price, Someone other than the company(UCAP) sold you the stock. |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mcy56(f): 8:16pm On Feb 21, 2019 |
NobodyKnows:The North is divided already .......but seems larger part are for PMB in my opinion. Now one of the concern is this: how many eligible voters (especially for PDP) have PVC? How many will go out to vote? Anyway, in relations to stock, I can't forsee any red as such.....but let's just keep praying against unforseen crisis. God forbid it! |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mcy56(f): 8:34pm On Feb 21, 2019 |
tritritri:Some were caught in the scam. Can remember someone coming to 'beat chest' here before it went on suspension that after-all it wasn't been dumped as speculated. For the Zee part, Loco will not like that. |

maishai: My brother, if the NSE should open a school for retail investors, you should definitely be a teacher there. I love you down-to-earth explanation. |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Willie2015: 9:19pm On Feb 21, 2019 |
NobodyKnows: My comments are simple & straight forward ... What we want is a conclusive election.. either way a PMB or Atiku presidency... Dont see any analysis that am campaigning for PDP.. And if Buhari loses... heaven is not going to fall.... Violence will majorly be among their supporters in the North..... Dont see any SE, SS, SW & part on NC killin themselves for any politician... Lastly, we survived the financial crisis in past years .. even when trading was analogue.. and came out strong... We will survive this too if the risk crystallizes ... Fear wetin ... 2 Likes |

Willie2015:I beleive investors will be favorably disposed to Atiku Presidency giving the pedigree of the candidates. I quite agree ! |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Dwizeone: 8:16am On Feb 22, 2019 |
NobodyKnows: Na you come dey campaign o, anyways whatever that is good for NSE and Nigeria. But really likelihood of violence is not as high compared to 2015, the truth is everyone is always particular about who handles what concerns them. So you can relate a bull run with whoever wins. |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Dwizeone: 8:20am On Feb 22, 2019 |

Dwizeone:Lol. I saw it with Katsina, Kaduna, Lagos and Kano leading with highest numbers. I guess APC has much hold in those regions. Anyway, anyhow it goes, make the thing just bring peace and favour us. Link: https://www.nairaland.com/5037925/collection-rate-pvcs-state-state |

Benz101:Buhari will win Kastina and Kano, and Atiku will get some percentage there two. My prayer is for God good will for Nigeria to happen tomorrow. Any one of them that win, will usher in bull in the Nigeria stock exchange market. |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Dwizeone: 10:15am On Feb 22, 2019 |
Mcy56:LoL ... I can see you are APC at heart, it’s all good, the truth is a lot of non-indigenes registered during the the voter re-registration exercise last year in Lagos, there was a massive drive on this, even if APC wins Lagos it will be by a small margin, PDP will get a good number of votes in Kano too but then Katsina is a huge plus for APC. By and large the results will be interesting. I just want the process to be peaceful so NSE can have traction in time. |
