Dwizeone: Lol @ "APC" at heart. Maybe you're right cos to me, the person of Atiku is not a right candidate. They just wanted to use him to oust the incumbent president, which is not bad as far as I'm concerned ........but will he live to people's expectation if he reach there? This calls for concern. I sincerely hope if he wins, he will favour especially the masses. I also added Kaduna in my first mention though. Abeg house make una no vex say we dey talk politics small. Let me come and be going before....... |

Mcy56:Don’t stress yourself . Atiku can not win this election. Only emotional people believe he will . He does not have the figures to win . The Southsouth gave pdp the largest percent of their votes in 2015 .and with the way APC has penetrated into the southsouth , there won’t be any insanely high margin between the two parties there . Forget southeast chestbeating. The turnout in the whole of southeast cannot exceed 3 to 3.5 million ,and APC will get a good number of votes there . I just laugh when atiku fan boys underestimate the incumbency factor too. This is not derailing please, it’s the season and there’s no way we won’t talk about it . Na moderation be the koko 2 Likes |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Deadlytruth(m): 11:09am On Feb 22, 2019 |
Realistically speaking, a general bull is not the best. Geometric profit is made when the bulls take on individual stocks on turn by turn basis. This is why I would want the candidate whose victory will not lead to a massive shortlived general bull assuming there is really such between them as being speculated without any concrete basis. 2 Likes |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mpeace(m): 11:12am On Feb 22, 2019 |
Deadlytruth:Bros it appears you were not in the market Jan.2018. There was a general bull that lasted more than three weeks. Just imagine 10% daily appreciation for at least 2weeks. That's over 150‰ increase in portfolio. Mine increased by over 300% thanks to the likes of Fbnh, diamond, fcmb dangflour... That month was crazy. THATS WHAT WE PRAYING FOR |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Tolktob: 11:19am On Feb 22, 2019 |
Mpeace: 10% for two weeks should be 100% |

House, what shall I buy today o! Criteria; High liquidity, good short term prospect (weeks/months). Your highly esteemed ideas are needed. Of course, I take responsibility for my decisions. |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Deadlytruth(m): 11:22am On Feb 22, 2019 |
Mpeace:We were all here in the market together then. Check the January 2018 days of this thread and you'll see my comments. I got FCMB at N1.5, Fidelity at an average of N2.2, DF at N9.5 all in December of 2017 and when the bull came calling early 2018 I made a kill. However, for the rest of the year, virtually no bull again but bears with bear bear all over the place....so much that our initial boasts to sack our employers soon all vanished. Just imagine that last year bull to have taken on the stocks turn by turn..... some of us would have retired at very young ages. 1 Like |

Mpeace:I think I can see where you didn't get me well perhaps due to my construction. By my use of "assumed" I was actually referring to the perception that a candidate carries more bull prospects than another rather than the possibility of a massive general bull. |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Deadlytruth(m): 11:30am On Feb 22, 2019 |
Tolktob: It is really like 150%. I recall that FCMB went from 1.5 to a peak of 3.75 within those two crazy weeks... and that is really 150%. |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mpeace(m): 11:41am On Feb 22, 2019 |
Tolktob:it doesn't work like simple mathematics. Do you know that 10‰ daily on a N10 stock for five days is not N15? Do it practically and you will realise what am saying |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Nobody: 11:57am On Feb 22, 2019 |
Mpeace: Go back to school!!! 10% daily on N10 stock for 5 days gives you N16+ |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mpeace(m): 12:04pm On Feb 22, 2019 |
RabbiDoracle:Exactly what I said. Read my post well. I said its NOT N15. In fact 10% daily for 10 days on a N10 per unit stock is more than N27 |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by onegentleguy: 12:22pm On Feb 22, 2019 |
Mpeace: Not at all my dear !! ...It will even compute above the N15 u mentioned. A brief; Day 1; 10% gain on N10 = N11 Day 2; 10% gain on N11 = N11 + N1.1 = N12.1 Day 3; 10% gain on N12.1 = N12.1 + 1.21 = N13.31 However because the stock is of category B(i.e. trading above N5), it can only record/gain N1.2 on the NSE trade book and NOT N1.21. ...so price @ day 3 =N13.3 Day 4; 10% gain on N13.3 = N13.3 + N1.33 = N14.63 Again for the same reason cited in day 3, the stock can only close @ N14.60 in day 4. Day 5; 10% gain on N14.60 = N14.60 + N1.46 = N16.06 But then again for the same reason cited above, the stock can only close @ a maximum of N16.05 So N16.05 is actually the maximum price a N10 stock will record/close for, following a 10% 5 days consecutive gain. For emphasis, the NSE trade rule for category B and by extension category C coys(stocks trading @ range >/=N5<N100 for category B and range >/=N100 and above for category C) stipulates that they can only record/capture gains/loses at a price band of NO less than 0.05. Which is why a N6 coy like OANDO can only move up/down to N6.05/N5.95 and NOT N6.01-04 or N5.99-96 3 Likes |
