Samolala2019: This must be an online application right? The list of sections proof of financial support, international passport, passport photograph, acceptance letter etc... provided on your MyCIC account are your document checklist, you're expected to upload each documents in their various sections. For this reason, you don't need to fill a separate checklist. I don't quite understand your second question, do you mean to say you're unable to fill in your details after downloading the required IRCC forms? If yes, try installing an updated Acrobat Reader DC on your desktop, I am sure it will go through this time. Best of luck |

Dear Frankrobbn1, Im asking on behalf of someone else, please. The sponsor for his PGraduate Degree is his British step father who is self-employed. Based on the list below: "Sponsor 2 Documents (father) 1. Letter of Sponsorship 2. Copy of Sponsor’s Letter of Employment 3. Pay slips 4. Copy of Sponsor’s Employee ID card 5. Copy of sponsors international passport 6. Statement of Account from Sponsor’s salary account. 7. Copy of Sponsor’s landed property 8. Copy of Approval and Survey Plan of Sponsor’s landed property 9. Shares or Investment account (Like T/bills) (if any)" please, may I ask i. about how much in pounds should reflect in the sponsor's bank account/statement? ii. Is a personal account ever acceptable or must it be a personal account? iii.will an ID be necessary other than an international passport? iv. considering the stepfather is white, will only the marriage certificate with his mother be sufficient proof of a relationship? Thank you very much. Frankrobbn1: 1 Like |

[Thankyou Ive never had a formal education after secondary school.. I was actually going to practical nursing but was offered college prep due to my low biology grade so i can upgrade it... I finished high school in 2015 but I've been working for my bro n voluntarily in a hospital.. quote author=Frankrobbn1 post=75977227] Please what's your level of education? Why going for a College prep at this point in your life instead of a degree or advanced diploma? Do you have any degree certification before now? you have to Google universities in Canada and search for their program admission requirements and tuition fees to see if you qualify and follow their application process to apply. check memorial university, university of Regina, university of manitoba, university of Alberta, university of waterloo etc. most entry is fall (September) but some universities have winter (January) entry. |

How do u mean recall? You can only withdraw ur application with convincing reasons sent to the embassy why you wanna withdraw ur application, and they will either grant or not grant ur request.. But in ur case, I will advise you write them asap concerning the errors made in ur application, so it wont have a negative outcome in ur application. If I may ask, whats errors are you talking about? dubajek: |

Ronkyjo:Hey, it’s not their concern! Tell them that’s the only credit you have acquired.Since you never gave them wrong info that you had more than that. Even before, you will be asked to finalise your studies in Nigeria so that they will know you ain’t attending any school to get credit again. This is just to be sure about the amount of credit to be transferred for you. So it’s not any problem. Reply them that, it was the only credits you acquired. But if you must give them a reason, just as you said, tell them that you quitted your school in Nigeria to focus on Canada admission Good luck 1 Like |

My elder sister completed a double degree in nursing and midwifery in U.I. she graduated 2015 and NYSC 2016/2017 and since then she has been working in a private hospital. That pay so little, we have advice her to get a Canadian school for Master if possible. She had a strong 2.1 and completed her Bsc with Chevron Scholarship. Which Canadian school would be good for her to apply for master and possible get scholarship and start date of September session. |

Arobake: 1-) The funds available in the sponsor's account (step father) should be sufficient enough to cover for the applicant's first year tuition and living expenses and have some left for the sponsor's immediate family and personal welfare. 2-) I don't quite understand your second question, do you mean to say if company/cooperate account is ever acceptable for Canadian study visa or is it compulsory that it should be a personal account? If so, company account is also acceptable as proof of financial support although by so doing the sponsor must provide a bank reference letter stating clearly that he is the sole signatory to account or a board resolution letter attesting that the board of directors/share holders in the company are fully aware of this sponsorship and hence won't tend to pose any hindrance to the applicant's financial support during their stay in Canada. 3-) Preferably an international passport bio data page will be better in view of fact that the sponsor is a foreigner which will show that he is legally residing abroad and also would serve as proof of relationship b/w the applicant and sponsor. Therefore, I would suggest you include it. 4-) Marriage certificates is a strong proof of relationship make an effort to include them. Remember to also make reference to all of these in the applicant's personal letter. Best of luck! 1 Like |

Soso98: Hello Soso98, With the high level of scrutiny for Nigerian applicants applying for a Canadian study permit, I would advice that you go for a bachelor's degree rather than a preparatory classes in biology that will determine your acceptance to study practical nursing (diploma) in a college. If it's your passion to further your study in the field of nursing, it's very easy for you to switch from the university to the school of your choice while in Canada. The core importance of going through this approach, is to increase your chances of securing a TRV as the visa officer will doubt your genuineness to study a preparatory classes considering your study gaps as well as you being able to continue your studies at the college in Canada. The visa officer will tag you as not a bona-fide student that is using study permit as a means to facilitate relocation into Canada rather than educational advancement. Deride not what I say because of it's simplicity. Truth is always simple. It's your decision to make. I wish you the best of luck! |

TrustAllah:Haba! not answering him won't solve the problem, at least he'd be informed of the implications in using fraudulent documents. And probably refrain! |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Frankrobbn1: 8:25pm On Feb 22, 2019 |
TrustAllah: I understand your pain @ TrustAllah,. I don't think the above approach will be the best. The applicant in question came in search of counsel from knowledgeable individuals because he is not too sure of the dangers behind involving himself into such kind of sharp practices coupled with what his friend had told him. If he had kept this within himself like so many others did, who knows he might end up applying for his visa with the purported fraudulent document and would have been labeled inadmissible to Canada for a period of five (5) years. I believe he will put the advice I gave to him into good use and submit a genuine application. Let's always try to assist people and give answers to their questions especially at this moment when they are not sure of the right step to follow. Thanks! 2 Likes |
