The surgery took place on Sunday, I was asked to get somethings from the pharmacy including:

Cotton wool
Syringe
Dettol
Hydrogen
Medicated spirit and two some other bottled liquid(i don't know their names)

The tumor on Gustaf's neck was growing back again, the pain alone was terrifying and i wouldn't watch my dog go through such pain


Alerted my vet about the development, he suggested we extract the the fluid and clean the wound up then see how it turns out which unfortunately didn't work as planned

My vet had to inject him with a substance that'd make him to sleep so his work be easier but hell no, he was struggling with me so i had to bind his mouth with a drip hose since I've no mouth guard

pls,when the doc put a needle in there,did any liquid come out?if yes,then its an abscess not a tumor.I think the reason it grew back is because ur vet didn't put a drain (a straw like material) in it after flushing the mucous out.
An abscess is most likely caused by an injury(small or big)that got infected.So pls try to put a drain in there then remove after a week and also keep applying antibiotics.

That's a very good idea but this straw like drain isn't for Gustaf at all, he would rip it off in seconds unlike Murphy

I keep spending so much on vet bills steady so i now decided to buy the full bottles myself... I'll be administering the antibiotics on them whenever I want to but would call the vet if I'm lost lol

Greetings petlanders, I've been looking for a day to start a diary for my two boys but i always don't but today it's a must lol.
Murphy is a boerboel, he was so hairy and had no wrinkles at the early stage but i promised him I'll do my best in feeding which i must say "worked". He's currently 2yrs+. I've stored pictures to share the previous moments with petlanders here. follow us and be entertained.

While gustaf is a German shepherd born in August 2017, he's currently 7months old. His coat and appearance has changed a lot since when i got him till date.... Gustaf is a very active dog.

That dog has no resemblance to a Belgian maliniose, a German Shepherd looks more like a wolf whereas the former looks more like a big bush dog.
