The man is right. Since you said Igbos must be one Nigeria ,then allow them to be. Fact is no Yoruba man can intimidate any Igbo in Lagos. Lagos is no man's land just as Abuja is for every Nigeria. As long as we remain one Nigeria, everyone has right everywhere in Nigeria . When Yoruba's threatened to kill Igbo's in Lagos, how many of you talked? Well,I am just trying to be a fair judge here.

I am SS before you will say he is Igbo but I love Igbo's for their industriousness and for being who they are without fear of anyone as depicted in the last election where they outrightly voted for Atiku without any fear of Buhari. Nigeria will be great if only Nigerians can follow footsteps of the Igbo's. They have not tested power unlike the north yet they prosper.

When have you asked your senators and house of representatives to pass the secession bill if you were serious about leaving? Na other tribes go help you pass your secession bill cos your leaders have got no hand? We all know Ibos are not ready to leave Nigeria. If you really want to, you know what to do. Yeye dey smell

I don't know if u know more than Wikipedia

during the olden days ..wars of conquest were common and all u said is without source and full of hearsay

https://https-en-m-wikipedia-org.0.freebasics.com/wiki/Lagos?iorg_service_id_internal=1547440102204384%3BAfofEyMGJpPwY0en

Your link led nowhere. Make your point if you really have a point.

By the way I sometimes contribute to wikipedia.

However, when I checked wikipedia as you apparently adviced, I read that Lagos was founded by the Yorubas -- the Aworis particularly.

See attached screenshot.

I also read that the Binis came a century later to "conquer" the land owners.

See attached screenshot.

So, tell me how these facts in your almighty wikipedia contradicts my points that:

*Lagos belongs to the Aworis.

*And that the Binis came many many years later to disrupt their peaceful settlement the same way terrorists do today.

Modified:

Moreover, I added that King Ologun-Kutere (a Yoruba man) put the Binis' (i.e. the terrorists') patriachal throne ascension in Lagos to a permanent stop till date.

You have quite some things to catch up on

it will really be very easy to agree with you if you practice this in South East but you don't practice it in South East, you don't even sell Land to non indigenes in South East states and you don't employ non- indigenes, which means there is zero chance for other region to thrive in South East, as long as you don't practice that in South East then it is absolute disrespect and Vulgar to say something like that in South West and we will never live together in peace as long as you keep opening your dirty mouth to utter something like that.

Where did you get that fact. You are just like many yoruba people who havent left their hut.

You can get houses in the east as a yoruba man, the point is do you have money.

Even if in your wildest dream indigens dont sell land, there are many state government housing schemes that sell lands to anyone.

So mr i hate igbos, what you said is pure fallacy with no basis. No information anywhere that igbos dont sell land to non-indigene. If you need land now, I will connect you to even a reputable real estate firm that willl sell you land. Infact most of them advertise land across the country. Why do you think they do that?

If yorubas want to own lagos so much, let them fight for regionalism leadership or fight for refurandum to divide the country. If not, you are not the OWNER OF LAGOS. IT IS A NIGERIAN STATE.

The airport you use is name after foreigners, the currency you use is Naira. When lagos gets its revenue (IGR) it sents it to the FG. 36 states eats the money.

South south people buy lands in the east. The problem with youruba is that they dont leave their comfort zone.

If you like dont live in peace with igbos, that is your issue not mine.

I have yoruba friends, i still tell them my own view of land ownership in nija.

So Igbos should have allowed damola and his bunch of cowardly thugs stop them from exercising their franchise? Too bad, he wasn't killed at the spot.

Igbos are waiting for another damola and his thugs to disrupt the process of elections on the 23th then, they will meet their Waterloo again.

the way you perceive IGBOS generally is a product of the information you've heard from people about IGBOS, thus your attitude towards everything that concerns them.

Before I came to Ibadan, I had heard so many things about Yorubas of which till today, I am yet to have such experience from a Yoruba.
.

Actually, to be honest, it was when I joined nairaland my view of igbos changed. I honestly, genuinely, literally didn't know what tribalism meant nor did I see us differently until I joined nl.

That is why it may be difficult for some tribe to be president of this country,

You relocated to another state from your own, the indigine welcomes you very well and after a while you turn their hospitality to a weakness dictating for them...and this is what you can’t tolerate.

See this one. I already stated that only the royal throne has Bini blood, not the natives.

Besides, we all know why the children of the royal house have been emphasizing on their Bini blood after some Yoruba folks had wanted to forcefully remove Oba Akinolu and his royal families. It was a royal house politics which didn't concern the natives of eko island and these natives are the Aworis.

Question that should be asked is what bini culture did the Bini king leave in the royal house let alone at eko island at large? None. Because the royal house wasn't even a pure Bini blood to begin with. It has been diluted right from the start when the first king married a Yoruba woman who gave birth to a female child who eventually married a Yoruba man that replaced the Edo king after which their children took over.

What I'm saying is that the fact that the Awori once had a Bini king over them doesn't make them become foreigners in their own land. Except you have turned into a British or have your land become a British land as a result of once having British leaders in Nigeria, you're only speaking trash.

Obasanjo claimed he was an army engineer and as such, couldn't command any army division.
