Your Advice Will Be Appreciated by kelish(f): 6:00pm On Mar 03, 2019 |
I am lady of 22 years, 5 years ago, i was this teenager with a very big dream which by my own calculation would have been partly achieved by now. But the wind life choose to blow against me, my dreams barely achieved, i have lost so much time already. I rounded up my ND program in computer science in 2016, but since then, i hav'nt been able to make any head way. I have been unable to collect my result, to seek a reasonable job, i have been through quiet a number of interviews but couldnt get the job after passing the interview because i couldnt provide my result. I have also done a number of non-result required jobs to save up to go get my result, but i have been unlucky with the jobs regarding payment. This is the 3rd month of 2019 already and am still confused, jobless and depressed. I want a way out of this suituation. so i need an advice on how to get out of this. |

DanDeeBoss: No help from family members. My own parent are having financial issues, reason why things turned out this way in the first place. |

kelish: very simple, lower you unrealistic expectations, and instead live in the REAL world.... what you are going through is just the same as MILLIONS of Nigerian graduates. 4 Likes |

MrBrownJay1: unrealistic expectations you say! I dont think there is anything unrealistic about my expectations, i want to work my way to realising my expectations, only want advice on how to go about it. |
Re: Your Advice Will Be Appreciated by MrBrownJay1(m): 10:43am On Mar 05, 2019 |
kelish: you were a teenager with unrealistic expectations thinking that by a certain age you would achieve your "very big" dreams... but sadly you didnt. now you are jobless and desperately looking for employment AND/OR seeking for a way out of this quite unwanted situation, and STILL having unrealistic expectations..... but as I have said to you earlier, open your eyes and look around you to start realizing that you are not alone in this situation, and millions of graduates find themselves in your shoes. the unrealistic expectations that you should have a job by now, when there are very few good jobs out there (to begin with), is the reason why you will always fail to understand your situation. there is nothing wrong with wanting to work your way to realize what you desire... the catch is to have the right means/tools to do so. IMHO the way to go about it is to find other means to gather funds (aka start a small biz, apply for different jobs, seek help donation from family/friends etc) 2 Likes 1 Share |

Why is your family expecting you to contribute when they're not paying your schools fees? shouldn't they let you save up the money you earn for school? |
