I actually discovered this forum in late 2015.Everytime I googled something about Xenophobia google kept directing me here,and I was so shocked when I saw threads made by Nigerians exaggerating the picture of what was really going on at the time,even going as far as calling it genocide,making up their own numbers of people that were killed,smh.The mega military thread also dragged me in here.It wasn't until October 2016 when I decided to join and set the record straight.I was planning to say what I always wanted to say and terminated my account shortly afterward but I ended up deciding otherwise.In the midst of all negatity I also learned a bit about other African countries.Well,that's my story of NL in short

Wow, our paths leading up to here are very similar. I was also googling something & then I came across a thread insulting South Africans by All4Naija. I joined immediately. I deactivated a number of times since then though. What kept me coming back is, I met some really nice people here e.g. Butchy aka Jaqenhghar. He's one of my oldest Nairaland friends
