Chukwuemekatehi: My post 9:25pm On Mar 23, 2018 HOW TO ADDRESS LUMP SUM DEPOSIT INTO ACCOUNT FROM AN UNKNOWN SOURCE Lump sum deposits are funds that are never in existence in an account statement, and are perceived by the Visa officer as borrowed money into an applicant/sponsor account just to acquire their TRV. Firstly, in your next application try as much as possible to draft a separate letter of explanation, indicating the source of the lump sum and stating how you have addressed it e.g was the funds gotten from business investments/sells, sold landed property/buildings, rented apartments___Provide little explanation to this and transcation reciepts to support your claims about the origin of the money. Secondly, Pay up your first year tuition fee out of the account the lump sump was noticed to show that funds is actually meant for your study and let sponsor transfer living expenses into your personal naira/dorm account. Thirdly, Provide an updated letter of sponsorship stating the origin of the lump sum deposit and what the sponsor has done afterwards as fresh evidence and financial commitment after the first delay (i.e paying up the balance of your tuition and transferring funds to your personal naira/dorm account). In addition let your sponsor get a reference letter to back this up. Lastly, endeavor to construct a financial table chart on your LOE/SOP showing clearly your tuition fees, Room and board, others and estimate on how the total funds available to you will be spent. The above is how to tackle lump sum deposit. All the best! LETTER OF EXPLANATION ON HOW TO ADDRESS LUMP SUM DEPOSIT. This is with regards to the source of funds which was deposited into my account on (DATE). Please be informed that I hold savings account in the NIGERIAN Bank: Bank Name (Branch) (Account Number) (XYZ Bank bank address) (ACCOUNT NUMBER) I received (AMOUNT) as a result of the sold landed property of mine which is located at Lekki Ajah, Lagos, Nigeria. The land deed is reflecting in transaction dated 00/10/2016 via Cheque No. 00000 OR ON-LINE TRANSFER dated 000/10/2016 in my XYZ Bank account statement enclosed with this letter. I have also enclosed a Land Deed letter, an affidavit and a scanned copy of Cheque No. 00000 (drawn on ABC Bank, Account No. 0000000) signed between me and the purchaser. esefrancis: Call the number therein and request that you want to book for an upfront medical, the process is straight forward and doesn't take up to 2mins. The customer care service will request for the proposed country you're heading to, your passport number, full name and date of birth. Ignore the lady, you aren't expected to pay a charge fee to any individual before you can book for a medical exam. |

Hi nairaland family, I have a question to ask regarding the CAQ application process. I have applied and sent out the supporting documents to Quebec. Yesterday afternoon, it was delivered to them. However, my portal has not been updated even till today. Who has an idea of how long it would take for them to update my portal that they have received the hard copy of my signed documents? |

Frankrobbn1:Please Let him go ahead and apply. One fact about Canada visa is that what worked for Paul may not work for Peter as far as its not a standard policy on their website and applications are access by different VOs. If you have all the document to back up and proof that the scholarship exited before you got it ,then apply. Most times it depends on who your application meet. Ur Vo may not even know that someone applied with such scholarship and was denied a visa sef... 2 Likes |

I NEED HELP ON TRV APPLICATION I have my letter of offer, admission letter and Full funding Award ($23,400 per year for minimum of two years) for a Research Masters Program at University of Sask. I have no travel history and no sponsor on sight. I thought TRV is something i could do on my own just like i found supervisor and got admitted on my own (All Glory to God). However, navigating the www.cic.gc.ca site with the failed effort of downloading necessary IMM forms, and other confusing procedures, it doesn't seem like something one can attempt on his own. Also, I have studied the thread word for word, still confused about the practical procedures. Please i need help on complete and successful TRV application as I am self-hustling die-hard scholar and researcher not rich enough to afford agent fees because i am currently a serving Corps member. My program begins September, 2019 (Fall term) and i don't have a clue up till now. Please help me out as this is my life, a golden opportunity i may not forgive my self for if i miss. This is a dream i have nursed for years. PLEASE HELP ME ACHIEVE THIS LAST ONE 1 Like |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Frankrobbn1: 12:29pm On Mar 06, 2019 |
AgroNACT: Hello AgroNACT, Congratulations on your crowning achievement (admission with funding). Please be properly guided that all the necessary lay down procedures and relevant informations with respect to how you can package a good application is available free of charge on this window. As a consequence, You don't need the assistance of any third party (agent) before you can secure a TRV for yourself. More importantly, I would further suggest that you get a sponsor regardless of the funding which you've already obtained from your proposed university in Canada. The sponsor should be responsible for your flight itinerary and other miscellaneous expenses that might arise during the course of your studies in Canada. A sponsor's bank of statement of 5M and above would be adequate enough for your study permit application. Feel free to always reach out here should you require further guidance on what path to take. I wish you the best of luck with your application. |

Frankrobbn1: Thank you so much for this detailed reply. i really appreciate it. I am still looking for a sponsor though, and i still have problem downloading the IMM forms. I was advised to go for Paper route, however, i am still open to suggestions. |

Get the most recent version of adobe reader, Foxit reader should do the trick. Download the forms even if they don’t open while you’re on the site. Go back to your desktop and open with the latest version of adobe reader you downloaded. This should resolve that issue. AgroNACT: |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by blet(m): 2:36pm On Mar 06, 2019 |
Pursuing Canadian visa has made me know what real heartbreak is. I earlier applied June last year, for study visa, My mistake was I applied with my wife ( we saw an advert somewhere online saying we could apply together), well, we were rejected visa. i applied alone on nov 3rd 2018 they didnt even waste time, by 22nd November they informed me my visa was rejected. Now its on their record I applied twice and was rejected twice: travel aplication history is affected. I have not given up sha, but have I completely ruined my chances to get visa to Canada? Does anyone think I could apply to Canada in the future? Or should I just focus on other countries? What if I try through PR would my record affect my application? God bless the African VOs and VOs worldwide who say we wont come back. |
