200Level Direct Entry Admission Into The Federal University Of Petroleum Resources & Other Schools Is Now Possible Without Utme, Read How;

Surprised This is going to be a long read than most of my posts here but I will try my best to be brief and then you can use the comment section below to ask questions and make enquiries and I will reply them all asap…..
Many people don’t know that you don’t have to do your Jupeb Direct Entry Programme inside Fupre to be Admitted by Fupre. Fupre does not own Jupeb Programme, Jupeb Programme is an independent Programme Own by the federal government and there are many private centers around licensed to run the Programme.
The full meaning of Jupeb is Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board, it’s a national board and not peculiar to Fupre alone.
Therefore if you have tried your Jupeb Programme in Fupre and it ended up not giving you the right result you are looking for, why not try other centers. At the end of the day only those who got the required Jupeb point will be admitted into 200Level in any school of your choice in Nigeria and even some abroad. Whether you did your Jupeb Programme in Furpre or not what matters is the end result of the Programme.
Let me tell you one secret: I have seen students who did their Jupeb Programme in Fupre and at the end of the day didn’t meet up to the cut off point for their course and Fupre ended up taking other students that did theirs somewhere else but meanwhile met the require point for their course.

What does that tell you? Where you did your Jupeb Programme does not really matter what matters is the point(result) you came out with after the Programme. That’s what determines your admission into 200Level.
The popular belief is “If I run the Fupre Foundation Programme/That’s the brand name for Fupre Jupeb then Fupre will consider me before others that did their own Jupeb somewhere else. That’s very far from the truth.
Fupre as a school have no say in Admission process, it is Jamb Direct Entry platform that manages admission and they use the point system to determine admission not where you did your Jupeb Programme. This explains why Fupre admits those that did Jupeb Programme elsewhere but met the require cut off point and abandons those who did it in the school but fails to meet Cut Off point.
Fupre requires entrance exam for you to even be allowed to come in for the Programme while most of the private centers will allow you to run the Programme even without an entrance exam and they will teach you well what you need to know to come out successfully.

.Good day, I obtain a direct entry form early this month I was told I need to do regularization because I was not offered an admission by JAMB it was offered by my institution. So I registered for d regularization after d form is been printed out I discover their was a mistake in my jamb score instead of 166 it was 160. Now I’m scared cos d form as already been taken to Abeokuta at jamb office by my school, will jamb still send me a mail or not or I should start all over again by paying another regularization fee?

When u are purchasing/registering for DE, don't dey request for ur profile code ?
To me,for u to be able to purchase or registered for DE,it means u have already created profile.

JAMB has finally fixed 11th April, 2019 as the new official date to commence with the UTME for this year. They have also postponed the Mock Exam to be held on Monday, 1st April. It is also important to note that the 2019 Registration Portal has now been re-opened till 15th March, 2019 (by midnight), for candidates, who have already created their profiles and purchased the UTME or DE ePINS.

If you've purchased DE ePIN but haven't registered congrats as the portal has been reopened, to be closed 12 midnight 15th of March. Seems they are hellbent on not selling ePIN again.

.The Joint Admissions and Matriculation has fixed Monday, 1st April, 2019 for its 2019 mock examination earlier scheduled for Saturday, 23rd March,2019. This change is due to certain circumstances beyond the Board's control.
Candidates who had indicated interest in the mock examination at the point of registration and have since printed their mock examination notification slips need not print another one. All the details on the slips remain the same except the examination date which is now 1st April, 2019.

The Board has also scheduled to conduct the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation examination (UTME) from Thursday, 11th April, 2019. Candidates are to begin the printing of the 2019 UTME notification slips from Tuesday,2nd April,2019.
All candidates who registered for the 2019 UTME are to ensure that they print their examination notification slips before the day of the examination as no excuses would be entertained.The public should note that the Board would not reschedule examination for any candidate.
Candidates can print their slips anywhere.
Nigerians would recall that the Board had closed the sale of its Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and Direct Entry application document on Thursday,21st February,2019. At the close of the sale and subsequently close of registration portal, it was discovered that 41,063 candidates created profile and procured either UTME or DE ePINS but were unable to complete their registration formalities after initiating the process. In view of this consideration the Board has open the registration portal effective from Wednesday 13th March, 2019 for all candidates with either UTME or DE ePINS to complete their registration formalities. The portal would be closed on Friday, 15th March,2019 by 12midnight.
This opportunity is for only candidates who had created profile and procured UTME or DE ePINS before the close of registration portal as the sale of ePINS had since been closed.
Please endeavour to register before Friday midnight if you are holding any of the ePINS (UTME/DE).

Good question. I actually used 'other diploma' to summit my DE application in the place of my HND, and it was the HND certificate that I uploaded. This was just because of the regularisation wahala. so many people did same here. I don't know if this can can cause any issue, afterall our original certificates has been uploaded to the portal. I also stop going further for the regularisation ish .
