No you are wrong power generation has increased i think it is distribution that is the problem...all we need is patience ...i feel the power generation is a must because they have invested massively in some sector that needs power. And besides i was at ibadan in the month of January and electicity was impressive..it was around 19_20 hours if i remember correctly

No i live around there..70% of lagosian are not living in floating slum...in lagos the slum you can find are

Oworoshoki
The third i cant remember the name but it located beneath third mainland bridge.

Now out of these three slum mentioned above two have been demolished, which are the oworoshoki and the one i said i cant remember.
If you move past that side you would see skyscrapers (housing unit)rising from that same slum that we detested and called an eyesore..
I even heard that the govt is building a project in that same oworoshoki to boost lagos tourism..,.
