You need to obtain the relevant license(s) to be eligible to work as a nurse here. You can google dha, haad and Moh. Read about their professional qualification requirements and start the process if you're interested, while you're still working in Nigeria. Of the 3 exams, I will strongly suggest that you choose haad because there are more openings with better package on routine bases. Fortunately, you can write the exam in Nigeria. Once you pass, you can then come and search for job. As for speciality, I'm not sure if it really matters but you have a better chance in Abu Dhabi if you have experience in occupational health/ Offshore, with relevant certifications like ACLS, H2S, BOSIET. BLS certificate from AHA approved center is needed to apply for licensing.

You can budget between 10,000 to 15,000 Dirhams depending on how many attempts you take before finally passing your road test. Because anytime you attempt and fail you would have to pay again.

If UAE embassy in Abuja charges #18,000 per document and the same embassy in UAE charges 110D(#11,000). Isn't it then cheaper and more logical to attest in UAE than Abuja?

I've never flown turkey but I think you don't need pay for anything again once you booked from Lagos to Dubai.

Best airline. You will not be allowed to go into the city , I think they would not grant you transit visa even if you wish to pay for it, . . Free food at all food courts in Istanbul airport with your flight ticket, , free Wi-Fi, in short, you will enjoy your trip. I would like to fly Turkish air again, but it's costly.. . Not as cheap as other African airline. Enjoy your flight bro

Pls @justi4jesu and other gurus in the house permit me to use this forum to narrate my experiences in getting my certificate equivalated at the ministry of Education here in Dubai cos this forum was a rich source of information wen I was planning on coming to the UAE and I feel I should give back to save ppl some of the stress I went through esp people who want to work with their certificates in the UAE more esp teachers .
CERTIFICATE EQUIVALECY REQUIREMENTS
1 ATTEST YOUR HIGH SCHOOL CERTIFICATE for us in naija your original WAEC certificate must be attested both at MOE and MFA in Abuja plus at the UAE embassy
2 PROVIDE YOUR DEGREE AND TRANSCRIPT for naija attest your original degree certificate at MOE and MFA in Abuja plus at the UAE embassy. Pls note don’t bother attesting your transcript but don’t send your transcript to MOE in Dubai or Abu Dhabi cos it will enter voicemail rather find a place your transcript will be sent and collect by hand and it must be the original if not it will not be entertained, another option for those who will stay in Dubai you could send it to the consulate in Dubai and go there to pick it.
3 LETTER FROM EMBASSY IN UAE those in Dubai or will stay in Dubai this letter can be gotten from the consulate here in Dubai. Before going to the consulate in Dubai inform your school to write a letter to the consulate in Dubai CONFIRMING YOUR CERTIFICATE. Once your school send this letter the embassy will issue this letter. The letter will cost you 100 dirhams. pls note that this letter from your school will be emailed to the consulate and not sent as a hard copy.
LOCATION OF NIGERIAN CONSULATE IN DUBAI AND ADDRESS; our consulate is located just behind financial center the land mark is .AL BADAA HEALTH CENTER which is located close to Canadian University. The Health center is on the same street as our consulate ie when you approach the health center from the main entrance. 4 [i]ORIGINAL PASSPORT( FIRST ENTRY STAMP) [/i]the stamp is gotten from Abu Dhabi airport at the SKY PLAZA ask security they will direct you it cost 105 dirhams. For THOSE IN DUBAI OR WILL STAY IN DUBAI before proceeding to the Abu Dhabi airport you will get a letter from MOE in DUBAI. Those who already have their emirate ID you pick this letter from the entrance of MOE ask those nice security guys they will help you get it from the machine. Those without emirate tell them you are on a visit visa and your data will be taken and the letter generated for you after your credentials have been checked.
LOCATION OF MOE DUBAI very easy to find at AL Qusais metro station the metro stop before Etisalat stop on the green line. The MOE is beside the station.
AT MOE WHAT TO EXPECT; PLS AND PLS when u get to MOE Dubai there two ogbanjes u should avoid one is the big black guy and the small lady with pimples on her face if these two are on duty just calmly sit at the small reception till they go out cos even if u bring ur grandmother they will tell u that your papers are not complete so beware of them. And once u have met the requirements and collected ticket to go in pray the lady in counter 5 attends to u cos she is just an angel and will go extra miles to see that your application is submitted. Cost of the equivalency is 105 dirhams pls note that payment here is by card but if u r luck to b attended by counter 5 she will collect cash and 5 dirhams for handling charges.
5 REGISTER ON LINE AT MOE .; just log in to www.moe.gov.ae click on registration and you just register and get out from the site. The other ones will be completed in MOE but pls make sure u register on line before going to the MOE Dubai.
It took about 4 weeks before I got my equivalence certificate, pls not u will pay 21 dirhams for courier at MOE. All your documents will be returned to u at MOE they just scan and return to u the originals. Pls make photocopies of all your documents and make sure u go with ur passport and visa copy [for those without emirate ID]

You don't actually need any naira with you but to be on a safer side cos of the idiots called themselves immigration. 3k should be enough.
Be smart with them u may not enough tip anybody sef
