Then they need to start connecting to the grassroots like 2 or 3 years before election year. Sell his ideas to the grassroots. Create momentum and find a cliche slogan. Shouting freedom every 4 years is not going to cut it.

They must find a candidate with impeccable record to rival those APC usually presents. Whether you like it or not, Lagos APC candidates always have impeccable public/private service record. You can’t be bringing a chemist every 4 years to rival that.

The structure APC has on ground in lagos it will be hard to beat. They hold ward meetings every week and they have some connection to Alausa

E.g A road repair or road cleaning contract coming to out of Alausa, they will give the HOA member from that area, he will steal small money and pass down to local guys who will recruit area boys to do the job and eat small money.

PDP are an unserious bunch in Lagos. They have no real base and routinely decamp to APC when shyte hits the fan. Look at Obanikoro and even his son that still contested under PDP flag in 2015, e don sharply port to APC. It's comical

You can only see them during election period and once it's over they go back into hibernation. Even Jimi Agbaje that resurfaces every 4 years like World Cup cannot realistically expect to win any elections in Lagos.
