Curtisaxel7: I would rather we continue to build on 3CB back line. Rohr should play out a 3-5-2 or 3-4-3. We have qualfied already. Nothing to be afraid of and we are playing Seychelles that we can even beat with our Flying Eagles team. I would like to see Musa pair up with Osimhen upfront. Samuel Kalu has to start for us to see how well Osimhen can utilize his crosses. I would rather we stick to our Balogun-Ekong-Omeruo back line for them to continue to build synergy. Aina and Jamilu should play as Wing backs. My set up: 3-4-3 ... Musa.....Osimhen....Kalu Jamilu.........Iwobi................Aina .....................Ndidi ......Balogun...Ekong...Omeruo 5 Likes 1 Share |

Curtisaxel7: Nice formation, I honestly hope Rohr moves Shehu to the midfield instead of RB, the guy plays weekly as a midfielder and now that it seems we areally thin there let's move him up. It seems Etebo is injured, I hope he regains fitness before the game. |

Taliban: I agree with what you said about moving shehu to the midfield because thats where he has been playing for bursaspor and he scored recently,i just hope rohr is not too stubborn to do that |

andrew444: Buh he was born June 25, 2002. Barely a year plus, before his father starred for the Eagles in Tunisia 2004. He is 16 going on 17. If he wasn't the son of an ex international, u would have blindly maintained that he is young but removed about five years from his true age. Do u now believe that, without proof, it is preposterous to make claims over peoples' ages, like u did wt Mikel? That is Empoli's rave of the moment, Emmanuel Ekong, and he is the son of former super Eagles player, Ikpe Ekong. 1 Like

andrew444: At the bolded, I wrote he was born June 25, 2002, yet u said he might be 17? At ur second paragraph, if I had concealed his parental identity, u would have maintained that he was 21 and not 16. The difference of 16 and 21 is 5, hence u would av automatically said the guy took away a whooping 5years from his true age. 1 Like |

Everton are hopeful they can secure a work permit for Henry Onyekuru. The Nigerian striker is still out on loan, having signed for Everton in 2017. Per the Liverpool ECHO, the club hope they can present a good case at his work permit hearing to get him approved. The 21-year-old is currently at Galatasaray for the season. And Everton director of football Marcel Brands went to watch him in the Europa League against Benfica. Manager Marco Silva also admitted they are following his progress. "Yes, we are doing our work and are aware of everything he is doing," Silva said to reporters. "It is the same with all of our loan players and at the end of the season we will take a decision. "We are following him like we are all the loan players and, as you know, we have a big number of loan players and we have to do that work and take the right decisions for us." https://www.tribalfootball.com/articles/everton-hopeful-over-onyekuru-work-permit-4272442#popup-sso |

Taliban: We are also thin in the RB position. What are our options?. Nobody knows when Ebuehi will return (or whether he will be able to muster the physical and emotional strength to keep up with the intensity of the AFCON just after recovering from a long spell on the sidelines). Aina may have come good on the LWB role for Torino, but in the RB spot, especially against Libya, he sadly failed impress. I will not be too eager to hand him a starting shirt as an RB at the AFCON if I were Rohr. The other option, Bryan Idowu, is simply a no-no. Now, Shehu is definitely not the best RB in the world, but that niggie has managed to hold his own in that position for the SE. WC qualifying series. AFCON qualifying. Name it, he has held his own against some of the biggest sides in African football. For now, until we get a better option, Shehu Abdullahi remains our man for the RB. 1 Like |

Icon4s: Well, he was born in Europe where there is "automatic birth capture" (whatever that means ). So I guess age cheating allegations are out of the question. Anyways, this goes to show the unreliability of judging age based on physical appearance. |

andrew444: Actually that is not true. Check the rules that govern the granting of work permit for football in the English FA. And you wil know that transfer fees have absolutely no bearing on the decision making process. I have already in a previous post alluded to the framework that brought him. I could tell you a lot more but to what purpose, senseless arguments. |
