Actually that is not true.

Check the rules that govern the granting of work permit for football in the English FA.

And you wil know that transfer fees have absolutely no bearing on the decision making process.

I have already in a previous post alluded to the framework that brought him. I could tell you a lot more but to what purpose, senseless arguments.

Hmm

Looking at Ghana s midfield and seeing Andrew Ayew...i laughed in Turkish....Someone that is fading and cannot complete games at Fenerbache....i watch all the time...that cannot run fast... always passing balls backwards like Mikel of Chelsea....With his bad mouth and ill-luck...Ghana is doomed once more....not qualifying for u17 and u20 in the last 6years have really dealt with them...MRI have destroyed Ghana football...Nigeria has gained from it

Unfair. It would sound unfair.

You can't be subbing on a guy at 85 minutes and expect him to showcase his full talents.

We are also thin in the RB position. What are our options?.

Nobody knows when Ebuehi will return (or whether he will be able to muster the physical and emotional strength to keep up with the intensity of the AFCON just after recovering from a long spell on the sidelines).

Aina may have come good on the LWB role for Torino, but in the RB spot, especially against Libya, he sadly failed impress. I will not be too eager to hand him a starting shirt as an RB at the AFCON if I were Rohr. The other option, Bryan Idowu, is simply a no-no.

Now, Shehu is definitely not the best RB in the world, but that niggie has managed to hold his own in that position for the SE. WC qualifying series. AFCON qualifying. Name it, he has held his own against some of the biggest sides in African football.

For now, until we get a better option, Shehu Abdullahi remains our man for the RB.

I disagree in principle but don't have the facts to completely obliterate your view.

I don't anchor quality on past glories, but present continous consistent top quality performances.

In this regard where is Shehu playing and is he outstanding CURRENTLY for much lower placed league and club.

Players dont remain static the either improve or diminish.

Aina has been CONSISTENTLY OUTSTANDING for his much higher placed club and league. We can all say without disagreement that Aina has improved immensely.

He Aina has had VERY FEW opportunities in the SE it us too premature to judge him on very limited game time. Most players that played for the SE did not start off being outstanding. Rather they gradually improved with time and understanding of the players around them and the team strategy.

So is Shehu currently better than him.

I noticed that nobody has said anything about Dominic Iorfa who has played 5 games for Sheffield Wednesday and scored two goals. That's quite impressive for a defensive player, playing as a RB.

He is now starting today against Bolton, with Shola Ameobi playing as the number 9 for Bolton.

Is Shehu currently better than him ❓ l simply do.not know. Some may disagree but l would day the Championship is considerably better than the Turkish league.

If you mean to talk about Iheanacho, just give it a rest.

Iheanacho has gotten more game time in the SE than he ever deserved.

Poor reasoning. If that were the case Chelsea U17 would be making the decision about Omerou.

You don't understand what I am saying and the context in which I am saying it.

Awoniyi, Seyi Ojo and others were all playing and training 5/6 times a week with Liverpool fc U23's before he went on loan.

From those training sessions and games you are competing with other players. They the coaches will decide if you can make the step up.

It was during that period last year that Awoniyi told me he had an injury and was getting treatment.

I watched the game the guy was fire, combined with Jeremy Boga of Ivory coast

They were running Napoli ragged grin

I thought the guy was Italian, so composed on the ball

I remember this Jeremy when he played for Chelsea as a youth player he was Outstanding Quality, however the transition to top flight football is not always easy.

Maybe he just wasn't good enough showed lots of promise but then again little or no opportunity at Chelsea.

Have the players that are being invited in the RB and or CB position met the yardstick you have created.

Or you have imposed a hypocritical double standard.

The pertinent question ❓ is very simple are the players in the position in question simply or clearly better than him. That's the sensible intelligent substantive discussion.

Not what you have presented.

Personally, I knew Atleti stood no chance. They're just not good enough. I told my colleague Juve would hit 4 past them.

Speaking of, I remember telling Andrew the Giant Spanish teams and their emotional fans would cry in Europe this season. The eulogy is on: 3 down 1 to go.

Will Barca be eliminated ?

I remember last season 4 English teams in quarter final and none could even win it,only 1 ended up in the final .

As far as juventus remains in the champions league English teams have no chance of winning it

I will talk about Barcelona tomorrow

I know you are an Epl fan

I knew you'd come back with your Dominic Iorfa talk..

Well,I got some very bad news for you: Dominic iorfa isn't getting a call up to the super eagles anytime soon!

@the first bolded, when Iorfa was warming the bench for wolves last year, didn't u say he should be invited ahead of Semi Ajayi? Your excuse was that Iorfa has been performing consistently for the past few season in the championship while Ajayi used to be a nobody .Why are you saying something different now?/

@ second bolded...this is a lame excuse ..very lame...we have been through it before...Aina got cleared to play for Nigeria just before we grabbed the world cup ticket against Zambia. He was called up with the primary responsibility of displacing Echijele at LB.. He got like 5 mins against Zambia. 90 mins against Algeria,45 mins against Argentina but couldn't do any better than Echijele...Idowu and Ebuehi used just 45 mins against Argentina to show us what they can offer the team..

Aina has always been good at club level since he was at Chelsea.. there's no disputing that.. But as far as the super eagles is concerned,he is yet to replicate those form with the team.. National team.isn't like club football where you will b given chances after chances to prove your worth... Your club performance will earn u a national team invitation, but its your national team performance that will keep you there...

finitio!!

And Iorfa can't be an option. How can he adapt to the team, furthermore, Aina is better than him and in the case of ebuehi, I will say A WOUNDED LION IS BETTER THAN A HEALTHY RAT
