EMMAACHILE: Thanks for the response chief. How does one even venture into moringa farming? Is there a farm one could learn the process including milling it for oil? |
Re: ... by Nobody: 10:34am On Feb 09, 2019 |
kodred:What is there to learn? Know your spacing of 2.5*2.5m, get local laborers to harvest seeds when ready and store it to sell or process. |

EMMAACHILE: can moringa do well if one depends on natural rainfall without irrigation |
Re: ... by Nobody: 7:49pm On Feb 15, 2019 |

Good'ay all. Boss Emma please update us on the papaya and possibly, the MOMAX3 |
Re: ... by Nobody: 12:53pm On Mar 13, 2019 |
kingharzy:Papaya was only a trial. Its still producing in my house but lost new fruits since nobody was around to water them in february. For those who want to go for full commercial papaya production, i say go for bigger fruits variety as the market prefers them. Currently in Lokoja, it goes for N3500 for a dozen fruits (medium to large size). My moringa seeds should be in Nigeria this week or next. 2 Likes 1 Share |

EMMAACHILE: Thanks for the update. Trying to put things in order for the moringa, open land is available but school takes me far away and i can't let herdsmen use their ignorance/wickedness to end my ambitions. |

EMMAACHILE: Congrats. . . If you don't mind sir, could you give a breakdown of total amount spent, and possibly, any eyeopener as a result of the order that may help in trimming costs and time waste. Pics will be appreciated. |
Re: ... by Nobody: 11:04am On Mar 17, 2019 |
kingharzy:I will get the pictures of the seeds when I get home. It cost me approximately N250 per seed maybe because I ordered for the moq Breakdown is $612 (approx 224,000) including PayPal fees. If you send directly through western union or alternative, you pay $576. Custom fees is about 10%. Paid about 25,509 Total = approx N250,000 for 1000 seeds. 3 Likes

I came across this video today and i feel i should share. It's a company in Cambodia that cultivates Moringa for the production of tablets. I believe if we can get our farms together, we could bring in huge funds for the pharmaceuticals, our GDP and ourselves + safe medicine to our nation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u9vVazYDaoA 1 Like 2 Shares |

Good to know. But i believe more needs to be done and with a steady supply of quality raw material, we can go international. One constraint i fear is NAFDAC. Those guys can frustrate entrepreneurs with huge registration and examination charges. too too bad for a Moringa farmer who wants to diversify into pills production. 1 Like |

EMMAACHILE:pls how can I get these seeds |
Re: ... by Nobody: 7:37pm On Mar 18, 2019 |
Nnabude2:Go for the red Royale. Search nairaland for that name. |
Re: ... by Nobody: 7:38pm On Mar 18, 2019 |
kingharzy:Our problems here plenty. No 1 reason for this local production is lack of adequate capital and also knowing what to do if you are into this business. 1 Like 1 Share |

I have ordered for my red Royale papaya seed from east west seed. It has arrived since last month. I have also bought Malaysia f1 foot papaya from Soon Huat company, delivered to me from Malaysia. I came to know both seeds from Emmachille. He guided me in this forum, thank you boss. Red Royale is 500 seed in a pack for 15000 and Malaysia F1 foot is 25 seeds in a pack. For both i have about 1000 seeds. I bought seedling soil at 7000 for 25kg. I bought seedling tray at 800 per tray of 98 holes. I planted on 30 of March 2019. My plan is to plant all 1000 in my farm considering 2meters interview between plants. The seeds started germinating yesterday 8 April 2019 barely 9 days after sowing. I will send pictures gradually. All suggestions are welcome as i will keep you guys updated my progress. Mind you it is for commercial farming. I intend to make it a business. 2 Likes |

Nice thread here, you guys are really doing wonderfully great work most especially Mr EMMAACHILE. Please can I get that red royale papaya at a low quantity lets say like 10? Or better still if that won't work how much is the Malysia f1 which is 25 seedlings and how can I get it as I am in Ibadan. |
Re: ... by manya(m): 5:41pm On Apr 10, 2019 |
castrol180:Malaysian F1 foot is 2000 currently, i think. Emmaachile will give you the number of the guy. Red royale is not available in few seeds, they don't usually open the sachet. |
Re: ... by castrol180(m): 6:38pm On Apr 10, 2019 |
manya: Thank you so much...But is the Malaysian f1 too big and sweet? |
Re: ... by Nobody: 7:32pm On Apr 10, 2019 |
manya:But you said it's 1000 per sachet earlier. |
Re: ... by Nobody: 7:48pm On Apr 10, 2019 |
