If you do a cost-benefit analysis of both arrays using the real cost per watt of energy produced, you will discover that the Flames panels are outperforming the Canadian panels.

A 300w Flames mono PV cost N45k while the Canadian equivalent cost N60k, that is, 33.3% more expensive

Now let us do some simple analysis using the instantaneous harvest data supplied (assuming the orientation and inclination are same).

3960w is canadian panels produced 2690w of instantaneous power ==> 67.93% efficiency

3000w of Flames panels produce 2005w of instantaneous power ==> 55.69% efficiency

So the Canadian panel is more efficient than the Flames panel by about 12.26% but it is also 33.3% more expensive.

To my discerning mind, the Flames PV outperforms the Canadian PV and it gives better value for money than the Canadian PV on this occasion

When it is considered that the initial prices paid for the panels were one-time capital costs, the 'Canadians' on account of better yields soon break even when compared to the Flames; the Canadians soon overwhelm the Flames "indefinitely" w.r.t. yields it won't even be funny.

First off...i guess you meant 3s4p...the 3p4s u wrote above..will damage most charge controllers whose Voc is capped at 150v.
Do confirm that.
2ndly confirm the make and type of charge controller you have
3rdly..confirm cable size from panels to cc and cc to battery ....
4th..long shot maybe that your connection has disconnected on the panels..i would suggest boots on the ground...ie let a pro from the forum go and qaqc your setup

There's something wrong with your installation
If u are getting 120v and 8.5amps from ur panels means that at least 2 strings of panels are not connected properly.

3 panels of 300w connected in series will give u about
120v and 8.5amps

3S4P panels should be giving u 120v (8.5x4)amps ië 120v 38amps.
Kindly note these are simplified calculations actual may vary.

My advise is to do a string by string test and u will definitely find out the faulty strings.

Secondly increase the size of Ur cable from Combiner box (Or solar panels) to Charge controller.

6mm2 (AWG 9) wire is grossly inadequate for 25m run.

my technicians is saying he wants to double the cable I.e use a 6mm for negative terminal and another 6mm for the positive terminal.
don't know if this would improve it.

i think you are a lil confused, the installer must have used 6mm for positive, then 6mm for negative
THE chart shows you need 16mm at 3% loss, i would advice you to split your panels into 2 sets of 6 panels each 3s2p, used a 10mm dual armoured cable to run each string, and used a combiner box or properly sized circuit breakers to marry/terminate both strings.

finally at this stage, it should be obvious to you that your installer doesnt have a clue of what he is doing, get an installer from this forum to go qaqc ur setup and modify it accordingly, zeestone /frankie/ niyi etc are ever ready

so now he wanted to merger this dual cable together as 1 core for the positive and we buy another similar dual 6mm cable and us for the negative.
