I never had issues with Internet access on Glo & 9mobile......

when next you run out of data and its showing X(trust me this happens on almost all new phones nowadays not only umidigi)
You'll see something in the notification bar saying sign into network. Click on it then click on the 3 dots at the top right corner and choose 'Use network as is"

it depends on your area.
Both My Umidigi A3 and Nokia gets the Same network speed every time i test it so i can assure you its not the phone.
If its MTN i noticed that their network tends to switch to 3G even when the 4G signal is strong.
So since I'm not going to use the MTN for calls I forced 4G on it and the network is always good
Now this issue isn't from the A3 cos my Airtel doesn't switch until there's no 4G network at all.
It may have to do with my Location and Mtn networks...
