Hello @johnsonsegxy Here's the info for medicals at IOM but I think you need to book an appointment first. To book, send an email to iomlagosmedicalbooking@iom.int You will be required to come along with your deposit slip, two passport photographs, original international passport(or a certified copy) and any available recent medical reports. The amount payable is NGN 41,400 for adults 15 yrs and above, NGN 32,700 for applicants 11 to less than 15 yrs, NGN 28,900 for applicants 5 to less than 11 yrs, NGN 27,000 for applicants 0 to less than 5 yrs. johnsonsegxy: |

My boss! Respect sir. Sorry, I'm just seeing this. But the moniker in question contacted me few days ago, and I've replied his mail. But for the benefit of others who may need the info, this is what I've noticed. Offer letters are sent out in March/April depending on the departments, and some also get it earlier, if they apply early too. So if the applicant waits till end of April with nothing yet, I'd advise to contact graduate studies. In 2017 and 2018, offers were sent out on April 24th(same day) for my program. Frankrobbn1: |

Benwems: In most universities, there are no official requirements for a masters degree. This means it is technically possible to study for a masters with a lower class degree. However, most universities prolly won’t be overly impressed by a third class degree (in particular). Unless you have extenuating circumstances, it's possible this grade will be viewed as a reflection of your effort and dedication. But if you are determined masters study is for you, and that you want to do it for the right reasons, there are several things you can do to give yourself the best possible chance of getting into a master's degree with second class lower ~Letter of intent (should be topnotch) ~Resume ~Your last two-semester results ~Job experience in the field of study ~previous Project work ~Letter of reference from your Hod, supervisor or lecturer ~ your presentation (these are some of the criteria I can think of right now). This means you may need to work harder to convince admissions or supervisor that you deserve a place on their course. So make sure you sell yourself well. PS: I know of MUN but please consider different universities (do your research with the hints you've gotten from this thread). While shooting your shots in universities for masters degree consider applying for PGD/C too. Bless up |

Good afternoon fellow members of this forum. I do need your help in answering the following questions. 1) Does one need to submit original documents (i.e employment letter, properties and so on) for paper applications? 2) For some one going through online route how can SOA of 5 banks of 280 pages altogether and scanned files of certificates, properties and so on be attached. I've tried to compressing but still exceeds 4mb. |

1. If u love ur Original Documents and still wanna have them with you, do not submit them. After submitting those documents, you wont have access to them again cos the embassy does not return documents either ur application is refused or approved, so u need to submit photocopies of ur documents. The only original documents you should submit are documents addressed to the embassy i.e SOA, Reference letter from ur Company. e.tc. 2. Use ilovepdf.com to compress ur files.. Tested and trusted. But if I may ask, while SOA of 5 banks, isn't that too much? Oyalfares: 1 Like |

Greetings all, I have a friend who is willing to pay in my tution fee into my bank account and i will be making a tuition deposit from the money. My question; is it still compulsory for him to print his statement of account owing to the fact that the money was transferred to my account and i have enough balance to cover up other expenses aside the tuition fee? Thanks and anticipating a candid response from anyone. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by dedecoder: 10:57pm On Mar 15, 2019 |
Currently, there seems to be a general delay in receiving updates from CIC especially concerning TRV applications from us Nigerians. This is my personal observation though. Ordinarily, it shouldn't take up to 8 days to receive biometric call-up. But then, since you were able to submit online successfully, you should rest assured that soonest, the update will drop. They've got no option than to request for your biometrics. Other than waiting and hoping, I don't think there is anything you should do in this wise. Those guys will wake up soon... tswise: |

I think it's advisable to apply alone and come for the children after few months. Likelihood of rejection if children are considered Oyalfares: |

Hi guys, Please for those that have insights to the CAQ application process; In step 7 of the online application, I got this message. "Step 7 - Financial information. You are not required to provide information about your financial situation. Click on the "Next" button to continue" What does this mean exactly? I thought it's standard to provide proof of funding. I wasn't worried about this when I applied in for my CAQ last month but it seems like everyone in my program submitted proof of financial support for their CAQ. I'm beginning to wonder why mine was different... Did i perhaps apply for the wrong thing!!! |
