it depends on your area.
Both My Umidigi A3 and Nokia gets the Same network speed every time i test it so i can assure you its not the phone.
If its MTN i noticed that their network tends to switch to 3G even when the 4G signal is strong.
So since I'm not going to use the MTN for calls I forced 4G on it and the network is always good
Now this issue isn't from the A3 cos my Airtel doesn't switch until there's no 4G network at all.
It may have to do with my Location and Mtn networks...

when next you run out of data and its showing X(trust me this happens on almost all new phones nowadays not only umidigi)
You'll see something in the notification bar saying sign into network. Click on it then click on the 3 dots at the top right corner and choose 'Use network as is"

He should try and pay the money and open dispute on grounds of phone not meeting expectations, for the evidence he should snap the receipts for the money and also give a bad feedback for seller communication. The refund should be equivalent to the custom duty money Sha, no do wayo. Hope it works out for you

A3 pro is not a gaming phone
Chipset used is old and its meant for low entry such as photo, video not for gaming. Though the phone is powered by powervr graphics it plays game even pubg at lowest setting. This phone is better than 90% of techno phones because most techno phones use below chopset dunno why they sell their phones above $100. The chipset techno phones phone uses are meant to be sold from $40-100 not above $100.

Umigidi is a good phone much better than better and infinix but xiaomi the best coz snapgragon chipset is way better,optimized than mtk and plays game better .
Techno and infinix should be banned.
Xiaomi redmi 6 is selling under 30k with p20 chipset flagship while techno is making and selling phone with 2010 chipset that was meany for camera, video only .
