Turkey, Russia and China aren't even here yet. Even Saudi Arabia with a per capita of almost 40000 dollars . I guess it depends on which criteria you'll use to classify that a certain country is developed or not. As for Western standards,the countries I have just mentioned don't make the cut .

Russia will soon eclipse Germany as Europe's biggest economy.Just like Saudi Arabia,the way Russia operates makes it not a developed nation. These two are not democratic and so they aren't classified as developed by Western standards even though they are economically advanced and their citizens enjoy a high per capita income!
