People like you make me sick. Why didn't you ask those at the collapsed building site to also mind their business. Report evil and help the society, you may suffer the pain tomorrow.
what kind of silliness talk is this? what has this got to do with a collapsed building? do you know anything about the structural integrity of these buildings?or are you just confused cos they are close, if its the closeness you are worried about then I advise you to get exposed more!

The issue of building collapse is not much related to this we can relate this to urban and regional planning aspect which we lacked in most part of Lagos... The ogun state government is really trying with her urban renewal and the emergence of real estate though dey make d layout small for their pocket and interest ...

The issue of building collapse Start with us as an individual a building is built for a specific purpose don't rent a residential building for office usage because the engineer as factor some live load to it..

The Nigerian Architect and builders should stop claiming they are Engineers they should pls let engineer's do their job for the structural part..

No cheap apartment for pple to stay Lagos is congested and d state keep milking it people dry without catering for housing lastly Lagos is not for everyone..
ahn ahn! Haba, which sensible person would even rent this kind of house.

Because it happens everywhere does not make it wise. The potential danger can be very disastrous.
Are you any profession near civil engineering?
I deliberately highlighted regions with relatively lower tetonic stability in order to make a professional stand point...

Save for structural defects, there is no big deal in the perimeter of building...

Get it?

those ones at that pix is still better, that same island area in itafagi where that building collapsed and obalende check that area you will see building almost kissing each other, you can easily pass and exchange items with another person in the next building, given its a storey building you can enter the next building through the window from your own building window.

Why are these buildings in Borno Way, Ebute Metta, Lagos so close to each other?

They are so close that someone in a room on one of the upper floors can extend his hand to collect salt, of his lips to collect a kiss, from another person in the other building.

There are reasons why buildings should not be this close. From privacy issues to fire incidents. Or in case one of the buildings collapses.

E be like say na like so you dey collect kiss from one gal

Common sense should tell you that there is no sense in the point you are trying hard to prove.
No sane city should allow for such rubbish construction.
Fire hazard is a good example of what your stuffy brain should ponder about.

People continue running out of village and travelling to Lagos tp born 20 pikins. The landlord should not rent house again?
Ambode said people should get out of the roads and stop hawking on the roads. Dem gree comot?
Fashiola once got a vehicle and rounded up some bergers/people and transported them to the east. He was blasted and condemened for doing that.

This is not an issue it’s just conservation of space. Many houses in the us are like this in certain areas in fact sm are even joined together like 3 or 4 blocks all joined together. As long as the building is properly built according to standard this is not an issue. Unless In perculiar emergency situations.
