I was actually arguing this with someone.

The lies we tell always come back to haunt us.
That agent is wicked.
Just pray your application scale through.

Ifeoma77:

Trust me when I say you are not going to be telling them anything new, they knew that you were lying about the job way back then and that is probably why you didn't get your study Visa.
There must be something in the water they serve at these 'agencies', that blocks logical thinking. How else did you plan to explain that you were a lecturer when your highest qualification was ND. Even if the school is family owned.
Anyway, way forward;
1. fill all EE/e-Apr forms correctly.
2. Explain the truth in LOE and mention that you were misguided by a fraudulent agent.
3. Pray

Additional steps;
4. Find that agent and give him some slaps angry
5. Give yourself some too angry

Hi,

I want some clarification. as a Senior Accountant working with federal government of Nigeria. A Certified National Accountant with Bsc Accountancy, Msc Finance and Accounting. from the NOC the suitable qualification is 1111 Financial auditors and accountants. specifically Accountant or Public Accountant. I hope if only Msc Finance and Accounting is evaluated there will be no problem when applying for PR.

Good morning my people, Silent reader here

The Eagle has Landed. After such a long wait, It's PPR

Timeline

Msc ECA June 2018
IELTS June 30th 2018 8.5 8.5 7 7 LRWS. First attempt
Spouse IELTS June 30th 2018 6 5.5 6 6.5 LRWS first attempt
CRS 448
ITA 18th July 2018
AOR 31st Aug 2018
MEP/BIL 24th September 2018
GCMS 1st October 2018 received 1st Nov. Only R10 had been done and found out file was in CIO
GCMS 12th November 2018.
IP2 update 27th Nov 2018.
Second GCMS received 15th Jan 2019. Found out Eligibility was Met, criminality passed, security yet to start and file transferred to ottawa
ADR 23rd Feb for spouse IMM5406. Submitted same day.
Ghost update 19th March 2019
PPR 22nd March 2019 dated 21st March.
Family of 3

That's pretty much my timeline, not a man of many words, so I'm sorry prof. I had a smooth ride up until the long wait from IP2 to PPR. Called IRCC several times, mailed Ottawa twice never got a response, raised CSE once and got a generic response.

Thanks to everyone here, this thread was my home after work from when I found it post ITA till now. Also big thanks to those that always help others here, please keep up the good work. I wish everyone waiting at one stage or the other good luck and speedy processing .

It has ended in praise. To God be the Glory.

No you are not. Your actual NOC is 0124. Your title and JD are managerial positions.

NOC 1123 are for non-managerial positions in Corporate Comms (look below the NOC on the site, managerial positions are clearly excluded from the NOC).

What stage are you in your app? If its AOR, please raise a CSE asap and attach an LOE stating your mistake. If you are post-ITA but not AOR, I think an LOE would suffice. If you are pre-EE profile, perfect, good that you asked.

AOR: August 18, 2018.
MEP/BIL: September 18, 2018.
ADR(RPRF): September 26, 2018.

The excitement no be here. We believed we were among the few who get PPR in less than 2 months. We no know say our village people don Dey wear their trainers.

We checked profile tire. If there was a limit to the number of times one could log in to their profiles, dem for don lock us out of the Cic website.

Village people just Dey sip palmy, and watch DStv from the white cloth on Pete Edochie’s wall.

Finally, this bright sunny ☀️ morning, we woke up to see PPR sitting pretty in our mail. Looking like a beauty queen.

And the fireworks went off.......

Congratulations to everyone who has crossed any of the hurdles in this journey.

Please I need some motivation so I don't place a 'full stop' where the Almighty has put a 'comma'.

After 3 IELTS and failing to max-out, I find it difficult to study for another one - lack of concentration, no zeal... angry

Mehn...I'm tired but must not give up as my children are not meant for this naija.

This broke my heart. I am so sorry that you had this experience. Please be strong, sometimes things may not end as planned despite our best efforts. Do not give up

Please send another email to those suggested by Topsmamen with an SOS subject (and your application number). Include all the NOCS that others have suggested, tell them your confusion and dilemma, your case decision (and why). Tell them you do not want to repeat the same mistakes all over and need to be very careful and sure for your second application. Clearly ask them to choose which of those NOCS suite your profile. With this refusal and expended resources and energy, I would advise you do not choose any NOC until they respond satisfactorily to you. Keep emailing/tweeting at them every two or three days, frustrate them into a specific response, if need be, until you get a green light.

It will end in praise for you.

Hi there,
So the anti climax of this long almost two years ordeal is ending with a refusal due to incorrect NOC code. I applied with NOC code 0213 - Computer and Information System Manager.

This is not the testimony I was hoping to drop after a year and 6 months wait, but a lesson for one is a lesson for many. Never too late to do the right thing. smiley

special thanks to Zutlin, Abubuyaya. You guys give me the courage to do this.

ITS PPR/COPR guys!!! (Written 17th October 2018, 14th November, I put a PPR date range by Faith  but God had other plans, PPR came in Feb 26th 2019)

As I wrap up, I’d like to drop a few pointers on how I think I coped initially: I became an analyst! Moving from one site to another analysing trends, from immitracker to Canadavisa, to quora, Nairaland, facebook, Instagram, youtube…people of God what did I not analyse?! I did trend analysis from AOR to Meds passed, applicants’ progression to IP2 based on visa office, average number of days from IP2 to PPR based on visa office on Immitracker and Nigerians. Doing these put the edge off and made me relatively calm. You too can try it…you may come up with mere speculation or you might notice a pattern. Either ways, you’d feel like you’re doing something smiley. I must confess however that as the days to PPR stretched, my staying power waned- especially since IP2 to PPR took close to 4 months. I wasn’t keen on analysing or even hoping. I realized that I depended more on past trends than I did on God and I needed to shift my focus. I decided to spend more time waiting on God than relying on my own understanding. Bottomline is, not everyone will have a short timeline. If for some reason yours takes longer, know that there is something God seeks to teach you. Know that God isn’t causing you to wait out of spite, He is instead teaching you to trust His delays and not doubt His ways. Waiting doesn’t mean you heard God incorrectly about this Canada PR waka. Waiting doesn’t mean your desire isn’t the will of God. Waiting doesn’t mean you aren’t praying enough (many times we know in our hearts that God will do a thing, the problem is usually trying to convince our head to be in tune). Waiting also doesn’t mean you do not have enough faith.

E-fam, I hope you find the courage to give IELTS one more shot, I hope someone out there finds courage to push harder to get that ECA done with and I hope someone there finds the courage in my epistle to do all it takes to make this Canadian dream a reality because this my people is now my REALITY.

Finally, Thanks to @Tojued @19cannymum and @Ramj for being there when I needed to rant and for the constant check-ins. To everyone- thank you for keeping this thread alive. I wish everyone the very best. God bless!

Please overlook any grammatical errors…na beg I dey beg…IELTS is over…for now wink
