After soaking for the recommended time,you sieve and air dry for like 30 mins.then you can now broadcast easily. Another method is to mix dry sand with the seed and broadcast. Any of the two methods will work perfectly.

Seed yam production is another banker,i have made more than 200k from my 2plots last year seed yam farm,when I still have more than enough to plant and eat.....No dulling moment.

The preparation of bed for the project begins today ..... Success of pepper farming starts from nursery, once you get it right,you are 50% sure of good harvest. That's I took my time to prepare the nursery bed myself.

that one is not nursery bed anymore,it's nursery bunker, nothing can get in,I found out the best way to handle damping off is to make a huge bonfire and then collect the cool burnt soil and use it for nursery,if not careful damping off can wipe out 50% of an already germinated plant.

Pre - soaking the seed for better results. I used organic foliar fertilizer, soak the seeds over night.

Please, this activity is not necessary except you want to use stuffs like seedrex, which is a fungicide-insecticide that will prevent attack in the soil.

Ordinary tap water especially the warm variant is better and it is better soaked overnight, 12 hours optimum to get the seed in great shape for quick germination

Meanwhile, using foliar fertilizer to soak seeds is not efficient because it is meant for the leaves as in foliar. Good thread by the way

You are correct about the use of cool burnt soil to fight damping off. You can also improve the sanitation of your nursery. Make sure your manure is well decomposed. Improve the Nitrogen content of your soil. Ensure light irrigation at regular intervals. Soil treatment can be done with Formalin with water (1part to 50 parts). Drenching the soil with Fungicides. Etc

There' some foliar fertilizer that promote good germination from seed,they help in breaking seed dormancy. Tested and proven

After broadcasting the seed I have to net and put iron mesh on it to prevent story that touch the heart.

That iron mesh is very necessary because I have one he goat that's very playfully he will turn that place to playing ground. 30k+ is not a joke or child play

I have received calls and complaints from readers and doers of experience shared on this forum. Some commended me ,while some said the hybrid seed that I recommended, which they also bought did not germinate after following what I shared. I have now decided to take up the challenge of raising the seedlings for intending farmers but limited space available,just 10 slots (a slot is 500 seedlings). I sell my previous seedlings for 70# but for this particular project I'm going sell for 30# per seedling .
