I heard it depends on d hospital but when I made an enquiry about d cost at Mother and Child Care, First gate, Amuwo Odofin, Lagos, they told me it costs N88,500 excluding d drugs. I made further enquiry about it when I visited Badagry General Hospital and was told it costs N54,500 exluding d drugs. I'm just wondering why some hospitals charge very higher than others.

Thank you mama for respond. Yes at some hospitals (especially private) it's expensive. The important thing is to get a professional surgeon , someone with experience . And not too expensive. I heard govt hospitals are very good and less expensive.

Wow! Sorry for d pain but am happy for u sis. So, we're in this together. I wanted going for it today being CD10 but later changed my mind. I pray for a better result for both of us. My dear, I have summoned courage to bear d pain. If a woman can bear labour pains that last for hours or even days, why won't I endure this one that won't last up to 20mins? If it's a price I have to pay to achieve my BFP, I will gladly pay it.

At least now I have peace of mind in that area & I can rule out Tubal factor (got d result now)

Yes the result came out 3 hrs later, I used a private diagnostics centre not hospital.
But even before the results came, the radiologist already told me everything was fine.

It's normal dear. The heavy or sensitive breast can be a sign of early pregnancy or impending period as both have d same symptoms. As for d white discharge, I usually notice it after ovulation and I think it only signifies that ovulation period has passed and d body is preparing for either pregnancy or menstruation. Pls, just relax your mind, don't be too anxious to test until after u missed ur period to avoid depression. Worryless dear, u shall laugh very soon.

It's suggestive of a fluid in your fallopian, this means you have to confirm it again by running another one and if turns to be as presumed then you really have to seek a medical help. Hydrosalpinx is not too much a gynaecologic problem to cry wary of.
You may have to do special endocervical culture for N. gonorrhea and the Trachomatis species.

Should nothing work be open to have a surgery done to improve patency.

The sonographer asked us to bd Saturday and Sunday and come back on Monday check and ascertain whether or not the egg ruptured.

I still need advice from experienced Mamas in the house on how to support this follicle and make sure something fruitful come out of it.

Follicular tracking is done through transvaginal scan. It will help you to know whether or not you are going to have a viable cycle.

Depending on how buoyant you are, you can go for scan 2-4 times in a cycle start from CD10 for someone with 28days cycle, and CD12 for someone with 30days cycle.

I didn't use any supplement. My doctor advised that I shouldn't use any medications this month. Her argument is that she want to monitor how my body function on it's own first before we take any step.

The only thing I did was to change my eating habit. (I heard it has a lot to do with ttc)

*So I cut out anything made with sugar

* Eat more fruits and vegetables (with exception of fruits high in sugar like orange, mango, banana)

*Practice food portion control (In the bid to lose weight. I am not fat nor obese tho, but I heard dropping few pounds can be beneficial)

*Cut down my carb intake to once a day
* Drink a lot of water
*Do some lazy man's exercise (On days, I remember)
* Take folic acid daily (Not religiously tho)

Mamas please i need your advice on how to treat this.
