This is what happens when you don't get quality game time. When will Uzoho fix his paperwork issues in Cyprus?

Ighalo with a good turn but strikes the post

And what do u expect from him when he have been rarely fed the ball? The few moments he had on the ball he looked lively and dangerous. He will be a menace to the opposing teams defence if he swaps wing with brainless Musa who have been misplacing alot of passes

Truth be told, this should be an opportunity for onyekuru to stake a shirt in the starting eleven but he is not taking that chance Just yet. Hope he doesn't regret it

Disappointed with how the Asaba stadium was built. From the cheap roofing to the poor pitch, it looks a mess. How does one build such substandard structures in the 21st century?
even covenant university stadium looks better...and should the government tell you how much they use in building this potato pitch nah you will marvel.... abeg i am laughing myself to stupor here...Uzoho playing for the Seychelles grin

this pitch is too small pls

That's understandable.

But its still not a valid excuse.

Pinnick should've pit things in order

We ought to defeat them by at least 3 goals to claim superiority

We can't even make out anything from open play
Uzoho though.... A punch would have done more
Pitch is piss poor

#common don't create excuse for mediocrity. even goal keepers who haven't kicked or catch the ball for long won't fumble that way... that is simply training skits

Moving forward, Rohr may not be the solution after all

Rohr was not always the solution.

He's just there for want of better options. Also, the NFF aren't exactly saints, I'd have said they go for younger, equally experienced and tactically unpredictable coaches.

He keeps defeating lower, African teams thus giving the illusion of a good coach. AFCON would soon we expos him just as the WC did

He should increase the size of the pitch?
many of these naughty politicians engage in building stadium to engage cheap popularity not to build long lasting legacies. this staduim is just for political rallies and nothing else and probably for training

I meant pinnick should've chosen a better stadium.

Even the one in Ijebu-ode where I served several years ago is way better than this.

Let us put our house in order so that we don't give our boys excuse not to perform

For instance, if we want to host the ANC now, what pitch would we use... Apart from uyo, Abuja do we have any standard pitch in this country?...

When Rohr complained and rejected this pitch for competitive matches, some peeps here lambasted him for choosing for his employers.

I guess the result is very clear to everyone now. shocked

I personally do not mind if we end up winning by margin of 1. We should be playing for performance not results. Our players shouldn't risk injuring themselves over this crappy pitch and amateur side.

I visited the stadium two months ago (in late January) and it was an eyesore. And it wasn't even a big stadium either, so how/why the NFF chose this stadium to host an international match is still strange to me. That stadium cannot accommodate up to 20,000 people!

The stadium does not have to be huge...Just nurture a playable pitch....dis not a hard ting to do in 21st century....so pathetic!
