Good Morning House,
I'm totally new here and new when it comes with applying for a Canadain Study Permit. Please i want to ask some few questions and will be highly pleased if i could get sincere and sraightforward answers:

1... What are the step by step process of submittng my study permit application online and how do i go about it? Will the scanned documents be in PDF format or what format is suitable for the submitting of my study permit application online?

2... Is the online sttudy application the fastest way?

3... My uncle is my sponsor, what are the required documents he will need to provide for me in order to aid my application process?

Please provide me with addition information that will help me with the process. Thanks so much and keen to hear from you guys.

1-) All documents should be uploaded in PDF format, except your passport photograph which will be in JPEG and the size between 60KB to 240KB with a dimension 420X540. Follow this STEP-BY-STEP PROCEDURE TO BEGIN YOUR ONLINE APPLICATION

2-) ONLINE AND PAPER ROUTE WHICH IS THE BEST?

3-) LIST OF DOCUMENTS FOR YOU AND YOUR UNCLE

I hope this helps.

Hi all,

Quick question here.

My sponsor has her own company. Is her letter of sponsorship supposed to come from her company's letterhead?

Yes, the letter of sponsorship MUST be printed on her official business letter headed paper.

Hello Gentlemen and ladies.

Can a Banker's reference letter showing available balance be used instead of a Statement of Account?

Information urgently needed pls..

A bank certificate showing evidence of available balance can't be used for a Canadian Study visa as POF. You're better off showing a history of your Sponsor's 4-6 months bank statements.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Emmaokudu: 1:35pm On Mar 23, 2019
Ok, thank you, also, my Father is my sponsor, does he need to transfer this money to my account or should I leave it in his account ? considering his statement of account would be submitted and his sponsorship letter clearly says what the money in the account is for.
Frankrobbn1:

The total sum of your first year Tuition + Room and Board + Others with a margin difference of 2KCAD-3KCAD = Funds available for my stay.

Thus, it should be filled out this way;

TUITION = $18,000
ROOM & BOARD = $10,000
OTHERS = $2,000
FUNDS AVAILABLE FOR MY STAY = $32,000

This is a parental sponsorship. As a consequence, your father don't have to transfer the required funds for your studies into your account.

Thanks so much Mr Frank,do you suggest I reverse the passport to my real age or what do you suggest?

Secondly, let me have your mail add if you don't mind sir.

Hi,

Considering that you've applied for a US Visa in the past and got denied with same age on your passport you can't reverse it any more. You should have effected the change long ago before applying for the visa. There must be consistency at all event with the Information you've filled on your US application form with that of Canada. I would suggest you don't complicate issues for yourself but continue with it and exclude your WAEC result when applying for your Canada study visa.

Johnsonkelvin:

Not VERY necessary as it may sound. However, if PA is currently employed in his/her home country, PA might decide to include one with their application to evidence his/her personal financial establishment. Above all, is not a compulsory requirement as far as PA's parents can cater for their expenses while in Canada without being a burden to the Canadian government.

GCMS Note is here. I laughed so hard after going through it. All I can say is the VOs are humans and fatigue truly set it at times.
From my note,I saw where 2 VOs forwarded my application to other VOs for review because of workload and fatigue.
Finally the VO that treated my application in Kenya said my application is Vague and not well documented. Well,it’s understandable because I submitted too many docs simply because these were the same docs I submitted 2 years ago when I applied for visiting visa. In order not to be accused of hiding any info, I resubmitted all the docs I gave them in the past.
As it is now,how can I tackle this issue.

Austacus, sleekysoft,adebayo2296,frankrobbn1 please help ooo. Admission deferred to September already

Approval Alert!!!

And that is how I finally get to share my own testimony. It's been the Lord's doing and no doubt, marvelously marvelous in my sight grin

Timeline

Applied December 12 2018 after being refused October 1 last year.
Medical Request: February 7
Medicals Done: February 20
Biometric Validity: March 22
Passport Request: Just Now
School: Centennial College, Toronto
Course: Biotechnology

Reason for first Refusal: Purpose of visit

So, who says college applicants don't get approval? Of course, I have always known that the notion is far from the truth. The difficulty or ease lies on "times and chances" just like with any other application.

Should any college applicant have a query or clarification, I shall be more than willing to supply answer.
