TheGoodJoe: The original poster of this article was trying to be clever by half. He started out saying the auditing firm was starved information, making it appear as though the nnpc was the sole accomplice. If one didn't read the full audit, he wouldn't know both Nnpc and CBN, governed by Sanusi closed their books to Pwc. This alone exposes the OP as partizan and probably working for someone somewhere to discredit the govt. It is best you read the full audit and find your own truth. #Barryseal |

Barryseal: What are you typing? The extent people go to defend corruption baffles me. The point is simple. NNPC spent billions of dollars without appropriation. Simple. Emir Sanusi's memo exposed it. Open, close book and a countless memes does not change the fact. 1 Like |

TheGoodJoe:Now you have come down to $1.5B. The figures are no loner up to $47~20b claimed by Sanusi. Sanusi's tactics was simply throwing shiit on the wall and look out for what sticks. No oil company in the world will come out clean when audited. Not BP, shell or Total. They all run shady deals which are smartly kept off records. The question is the nunbers being brandished and the political millage gained by the then opposition. #Barryseal |

Barryseal: Members of the NNPC were indicted by the PwC report that they spent about $20 billion dollars without appropriation. Simple. Whether you like it or not, Finito. |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Barryseal: 1:24am On Mar 26, 2019 |
TheGoodJoe: For the record and educational purposes, subsidy on kerosene was still in force at the time as the presidential directive of October 19, 2009. So the question of spending billions without appropriation doesn't have legs. No wonder Sanusi kept giving different figures every day. #Barryseal |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 1:40am On Mar 26, 2019 |
Barryseal: PREMIUM TIMES had published exclusive documents that showed that late President Umaru Yar’Adua had in 2009 placed a directive banning payment of subsidy on kerosene. The NNPC said it went ahead with the controversial payments, and claimed ignorance of the subsisting presidential directive. However, despite the billions of dollars that the NNPC claimed it spent on subsidy payment for kerosene, the average retail price has since 2010 hovered at more than double the N50 price kerosene should have been sold if the subsidy was truly in place. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.premiumtimesng.com/news/154929-kerosene-subsidy-fraud-house-reps-public-investigation-stalled-due-alison-madueke-nnpc-ppmcs-absence.html%3famp_markup=1 I do not understand what you are still trying to defend. |

Evidently watching these clips...its like the Libyan had no self belief....where was that solid defense? Even the way they run in the 18yard looked timid and tepid... One special from Osimhen is not even his hat-trick...but HIS LONG RANGE SHOT THAT HIT THE WOODWORK....its been a long time i saw that type of long range...the last time was from Sunday Oliseh.... Man...looking at the press conference...Osimhen was at right side of Imama...boy...that dude is young by nairaland standard of looking at face to know true age... The name of this team is really apt DREAM....by the time Onyekuru,Kalu and co join....hum....Awoniyi will just drop to the bench...this Okereke is deadlier in the 18 than Awonyi and Okonkwo.. |
