Update on the closure of TMA 1

Students should write complain letter about the closure of TMA1 to the Director (Academic) through this e-mail academicoffice@noun.edu.ng and to the registrar through this e-mail Address registrar@noun.edu.ng repectively.
Students should complain about how the school website could not accomodate the number of students that wanted to submit their TMA1 at once during the time that was given thereby leading to congestion on the school website for more than one week that deterred many students from submitting their tma1.

Update to my narrative yesterday, my family member has collected her degree certificate and they are on their way out of Abuja but she said several graduands couldn't collect their certificate because they were not printed ,.


I now asked if NOUN will provide accommodation / transportation / support for the students involved, since it wasn't there fault but that of the institution and I was told that No, like seriously , why subject students who came from different states to Abuja to that kind of stress, considering the extra money there parents / guardians will spend in Abuja till the students collect their certificate , very unfortunate..

NOUN is a good school but they need to up there game to ameliorate the hardship confronting their students

Those ones that are not printed, are they printed now? Because i want to make the trip to Abuja to collect mine too, so that i won't travel several miles and be hearing stories.

Lol, I am not in Nigeria and I am not a student of the school, I only came here to read more about the school / 2019 graduation due to the fact that my family member is a student and she is the one giving me information about her graduation, I guess other students on here will respond to your inquiries, although she told me via phone that those students who didn’t receive their degree certificate were told to wait till today been Monday but I really feel for them because they will have to incure extra expenses which is not their fault

Quick information to some of you here, l have met several Nigerians here in the Western world that came with degree certificate from NOUN and the certificate is well recognized, many are pursuing post graduate studies in different Universities across the globe.

I was in Hamburg last year for vacation from my base and I met a Nigerian student doing his post graduate studies in a university in Germany, but when I login into Nairaland.com, I see people posting negative reviews about the school. if Germany can accept the degree certificate from NOUN, I wonder why some Nigerians are talking about the school with disdain,

We have several OPEN UNIVERSITIES in the US, CANADA, UK that operates like NOUN and they are well respected. NOUN is a good school, and I know with time, it's impact will go beyond Nigeria, Africa to the rest of the world.

Please does the university issue student's copy of transcript and how quickly can one obtain it?

Also, please how long does it take the university to process and deliver transcript intended for a foreign University? They stipulated a processing time between 2-3 weeks but i wish to know the reality of the time involved in the process.

If your name is complete, meaning you don't have abbreviation in your name, that means your certificate should be ready for collection.
