johnnybravo1990: It wasn't the cause of the delay at all. I was already 8 months post AOR when I changed my status to separated. If anything, I think it was what drew attention to my file. 6 Likes 1 Share |

So that's how village people started working overtime on my case. My passport has been in the South Africa embassy since 13th of this month (same day I went for medicals - In a bid to kill 2 birds with one stone). After I cleared medicals and returned home, I updated my forms with details of our heights so that there will not be discrepancies. Completing this section allowed me to move to the upload page where I realized I will need to scan all visa and stamped pages (I had previously scanned the data page in anticipation of a delay). It's been 2 weeks now and no response from vfs SA. I called them up today and they're telling me the visa application takes a minimum of 3 weeks (States 6 days on their site). This will coincide with my ITA expiry date and I ideally should not be waiting till the last day to make my submission. What to do? Cancelling the visa application should all things being equal let me have the passport back on my deadline which will also coincide with their 3 weeks. Do I upload the scan I have and write an LOE and then upload the other pages as soon as I get the passport back? No option of declining because I just managed to get ITA with spouse unaccompanying and 'byday' is by the corner. Oya o, everybody should sound off on this biko. BTW, congrats to Zutlin and the senator from Ottawa. 1 Like |

And dont let me forget yasss, my husband is a lawyer and he got the canadian equivalence of first professional degree as said on this thread. We are soo creating our profile now with a score of 447. When I say those currently in fluctuations I mean if your status is showing complete and going back to final review . Then ur ECA is complete I don5 know why they are holding back.can u imagine the date of ECA completed on my husband result was since 26th February . 1 Like |

lobell: Hmm. This is a tough one. Declining that ITA is definitely not an option seeing as your points will reduce due to age increase. I suggest you go ahead and upload the scanned bio-data passport page, write an LOE and back it up with evidence (such as the visa application fee/receipt, email confirmation of visa application or email correspondences, visa appointment printouts, or anything you have that pertains to your SA application) that shows you applied for another visa and that you’re currently awaiting the delivery of your passport. This is quite a bummer as I wouldn’t want you to risk getting your PR application denied due to incomplete documentation. Let’s wait to hear from others. |

Hi everyone. Congrats to the new PPR clinchers. Our seniors in the house, Please help. Y'all won't believe what I just heard from CIC. So I decided to call today after my last cse that stated all my documents submitted had been verified. I was told that my PPR was sent since March 7th! 20 days ago! Anyways, the truth is I didn't see any mail like that. If you've been waiting like I have (over 7 montbs), you'll know how much attention to detail we pay to our emails. How we look at our gmail notification every morning, with hope for the golden email. I'd check my spam, bin, etc. Please I need urgent help on what to do. How do I get them to resend the PPR email. 2 Likes |

Hello house congrats to all the PPR clinchers....May God bless the land for you. Seniors in the house,Pls a friend outside NL asked me a question that is bigger than my knowledge on this journey....She was planning to start this journey with her fiance, but the guy friends in Canada said it's hard to get a good job when one didn't have at least 1 certificate from Canada school and regarding their POF they can't raise for the both of them,Now they both agree to put their wedding plans on hold and let the guy alone go for now....The question now is that is it possible for someone who got a PR visa to come back to Nigeria after 2-3 years to marry the lady legally and go together....How easy is this process and what would you advice pls....Seniors in the house, please help me put mouth Topsmamen,Ifeoma and others..Thanks |

Please, how did you handle the WAEC part as a requirement by WES? Did you go to WAEC office to give them the request form so they can send your result to WES? And also the scratch card form. I'm not to clear on the current WES requirement as stated in their website and how to go about IG. Pls help. Hello boss, asides the customary WES fee, I have spent the following on WES ALONE so far: 1. WAEC- 28,000 2. UI TRANSCRIPT: ABOUT 22,000 3. LAW SCHOOL TRANSCRIPT: 34,000 I think like me, you should make WES your contingency plan. One never knows with IQAS...[/quote] |

lobell:You say wetin? Decline Gini!!!! Abeg don't let village people to get you. Upload the scanned data page and use LOE to explain that the passport is with SA embassy. At the same time, write the SA embassy and tell them to hurry it along. Then delay submission till you have two days to deadline. If passport is not back till then, submit. If it's back, then delete the LOE and scan your stamps |

Funky123: In my own opinion . The guy will likely not come back considering the large number of singles immigrating to Canada. It may be different if they are married or have a child together. With Canada cold, guy go grab available single lady him body sharp sharp. The lady needs to think with her brain and not her emotion on this. 9 Likes |

Funky123:So your friend just listens to her husband's friends and on the strength of their balderdash, she suspends her wedding and folds her hands? Couldn't do her own research? Couldn't type 'can I get a job in Canada?' on google? She's 'ready' to do the PR with her fiance and yet did not realize that the difference between POF for one and for two is not enough to tell one person to sit it out and wait for 3 years. It's either her fiance is playing her for a fool or they are both 20 Likes |
