Pls a friend outside NL asked me a question that is bigger than my knowledge on this journey....She was planning to start this journey with her fiance, but the guy friends in Canada said it's hard to get a good job when one didn't have at least 1 certificate from Canada school and regarding their POF they can't raise for the both of them,Now they both agree to put their wedding plans on hold and let the guy alone go for now....The question now is that is it possible for someone who got a PR visa to come back to Nigeria after 2-3 years to marry the lady legally and go together....

Your friend is going to let her man move alone to Canada and then come back to marry her after 2-3yrs because of POF difference of a little over 800k? Wawu!

However, I got the no-reply generic message and saw I was supposed to include UCI etc. I don't know if I should resend another email with UCI etc.

Remedicals

On getting back to Nigeria, I struggled to get remedicals done. Qlife was booked till April and they couldn’t squeeze me in while IOM said the earliest they could do for me was first week of March. I decided to write to Accra asking for an extension but after all the suffer when I don suffer, I really did not want to extend anything. That was how I came across @Hobyno offering his Qlife slot to someone who was also looking for an early date but fortunately the date was too soon for her grin. I quickly went inbox to beg him for the slot and he graciously agreed.

Once again, THANK YOU @Hobyno.

Two days later, as at 6:04am I was already at Qlife for my medicals. Before 10am I was done and headed straight to VFS for passport submission.

My brethren na so o like joke like joke, my dream turned reality before my very eyes.

My journey was a long and bumpy one but las' las', na God win. grin

Congrats once again I'm happy I could help but you have been a source of support to me always willing to help when I run into difficult time while filling my application always readily available to spend your airtime to call and explain to me in details. May the land favor you.

So that's how village people started working overtime on my case.

My passport has been in the South Africa embassy since 13th of this month (same day I went for medicals - In a bid to kill 2 birds with one stone). After I cleared medicals and returned home, I updated my forms with details of our heights so that there will not be discrepancies. Completing this section allowed me to move to the upload page where I realized I will need to scan all visa and stamped pages shocked shocked shocked (I had previously scanned the data page in anticipation of a delay). It's been 2 weeks now and no response from vfs SA. I called them up today and they're telling me the visa application takes a minimum of 3 weeks (States 6 days on their site). This will coincide with my ITA expiry date and I ideally should not be waiting till the last day to make my submission.

What to do?

Cancelling the visa application should all things being equal let me have the passport back on my deadline which will also coincide with their 3 weeks.

Do I upload the scan I have and write an LOE and then upload the other pages as soon as I get the passport back?

No option of declining because I just managed to get ITA with spouse unaccompanying and 'byday' is by the corner.

Oya o, everybody should sound off on this biko.

BTW, congrats to Zutlin and the senator from Ottawa.

SA kept my visa for 5 weeks. Feb 1 to March 11.....if SA trip is not critical pls immediately ask for your passport back. Process is below.....it takes 48 hours minimum

Decision to Travel: November 2017, after proper analysis of the inherent benefits.

Family composition: 2

POF composition: 25 % from pension fund and 75% fixed deposit

Post AOR:

- Provided reference letter of PA in desired IRCC formats.(no payslip provided)
- Thought it wise to provide reference letter for supporting applicant since majority of funds came from supporting applicant, just for 2 previous jobs though. Reference letter for current job was not included. Also no payslips. Wanted to keep application as simple and straight forward as possible.

A wise woman once told us that there is always something that needs an explanation, hence we included LOE to explain change of name, travel history and police certificate.

A separate LOE was included in the POF placeholder to properly explain composition of funds.

I will do just this if i am in the OP's shoes
Topsmamen:

Hmm. This is a tough one. Declining that ITA is definitely not an option seeing as your points will reduce due to age increase.

I suggest you go ahead and upload the scanned bio-data passport page, write an LOE and back it up with evidence (such as the visa application fee/receipt, email confirmation of visa application or email correspondences, visa appointment printouts, or anything you have that pertains to your SA application) that shows you applied for another visa and that you’re currently awaiting the delivery of your passport. This is quite a bummer as I wouldn’t want you to risk getting your PR application denied due to incomplete documentation.

Let’s wait to hear from others.

Hi everyone,

Concerning ECA evaluation with WES,if i add 2 credentials from the begining is it possible that i remove one along the line if there is no need to evaluate it anymore ? This is because i am not sure of the 2nd option yet,and i want to start the process now to cover up for the delay i am likely to get from processing transcript from my school.

Is there any one that used the standard delivery(no tracking) option and got a copy of the report delivered to them?
Or it's advisable to use the tracking option($85 plenty small.lol)

wow.... I completely know and followed your story from point 1 till date.

It truly has been a bumpy ride. I remember when u were sad about the timelines, when you even considered withdrawing your app with hopes that you may get another vo because of how frustrating AVO had become... what about the petitions that had to be completed... u even also helped to add lots of new AVO people to the group. God bless you for your efforts.

It truly was a rollercoaster.

I want to sincerely appreciate you for sharing your ppr script with us.

I will rate this script 9.6/10.... it was not just detailed... but it was also a motivating one.

No wonder. I knew something was wrong. I noticed some craziness with the NOCs I have been working on and I thought something was wrong with my memory or they really did an update on them, but I know they were never like that before. Good to know that they are aware. There have been several reported refusals based on NOCs in recent times. I hope this is not the cause.
Mamaroon:
After xtosync shared (see...something good has come out of your experience already and more good is on the way for you)......I went back to my chosen NOCs and noticed one had changed and had an error...it was a 100% match before..... now it was showing something bizarre...filled the contact us form online and got this email. We may want to use this to check NOCs

Good morning everyone, I need your help please. Kindly assist with your experience on the questions below:

1. In address history, do I fill the place lived while In school as a contact address (I schooled outside lagos) or retain my father's house address.

2. I had my son in the U.S and I stayed there for 4 months, does my address at the time stay under address history or travel history.

3. Do I fill both passports (US and 9ja) for the part they requested for ID documents under child PR.

4. Am I to leave the Unique number part blank (I am post ITA)

Thank you in anticipation

Anytime I fill in my personal details, the column for street or po box address automatically erases. I don't know what the problem might be. is there anyone who could be of assistance to me or should I give them a Canada address? But I don't know anyone in Canada yet.

It is better to leave in you account as you can easily access it when PPR comes but most people don't want to leave huge cash just lying somewhere that is the reason for TB and FD.
