I know this will be an unpopular opinion, but despite the miracle OGS has performed so far, I still wish Pochettino will get the job ahead of him. Whether it's bringing up youth players or buying good players or improving players, I feel Pochettino with the backing of the board financially, will get the job done better than OGS.

I think they confirmed him because they want to start planning for the new season especially in the area of player transfers. I read he has already penciled down some names for sale and I believe they are working on targets as we speak.

Personally, until we sell some of these players currently at the club and we buy some quality players before I give my verdict on how I expect OGS time at Old Trafford to turn out.

I expect Eric Cantona to be announced soon as DoF! United must get it right this time around. If Barca could trust Abidal with the Position, I guess it won't be a bad Idea to get-in a Legend like Eric on Board as a DoF.
