Using a Canadian address means the hard copy of your report would be mailed to the address in care of whoever is going to receive the mail...
The soft copy would be uploaded on your iqas account for your to download

Then it's not a company, it's a shop or kiosk. If it's the former, then it has been illegally doing business and is not recognised in Naija, how will the company pay taxes, follow CAC laws etc... But it is unlikely. Most businesses get registered and their details remain there even after they get liquidated.

But don't worry, I'm not sure the V.O even trusts CAC's information (you know naija reputation na grin). Just ensure you have the ref. letter in CIC format and other supporting docs. They can always call to verify if they need to.

Please what if the company is not registered?

All the best in your exams. I felt the same way since I wrote acad before. Acad is harder but the marking scheme for general is stricter. Do your best, you will testify soon.

jazzy:
Hi Guys. I m still all about waiting for WES, they are extremely slow these days, and its getting quite frustrating honestly. I call them literally every week especially since its well over a month they've received the verification email from my school and i keep getting the same responses - Give it time, they are evaluating. It has become so worrisome. but we wait. I will continue to hound them until i get my date of completion.

I am also writing IELTS again on the 6th, since my EOR came back unchanged (LSRW- 8.5,8,8.5, 6.5). This time i believe i m ready. Truthfully though, this exam is humbling. I used to raise shoulder because i had written Academics (which is harder by the way and scored LSRW 8.5,8,8,7.5 previously. Its amazing how things like this can bring one to ground Zero. I hope for the best. Have a good evening e-fam. #WeMove

On the other hand I have all the money we would need for POF in my bank account and fixed deposit (microfinance bank as their rates are higher than Tbills).
I have read that i could get an affidavit for money in my account but I'm not 100% sure how that would play out.
So my question is:

1. Can I use my fixed deposit which is 4 months old plus my bank statement and write LOE or Affidavit?
2. or should I just liquidate and transfer all the money to his account (my problem with this is the money will have to sit in his account throughout the process of this Canada application and not yield profits). Plus what documents will I/he need to explain this large sum credited into his account.

The required POF you need is already in your account so the FD certificate and your bank statement are okay. Your husband will need to write a letter (signed by you) to explain that you (as the wife) have no objection that your husband has complete access to the money in your account and will be utilized by him at any point in time.

If you want to go ahead to liquidate and transfer to his account, you only need to show his bank statement with evidence of the transfer and explain in an LOE that the funds are for your family expenses in Canada and stuff.

They are painfully slow, target 8 weeks for acknowledgement and 20 weeks for evaluation.

Hello friends,

can i process my WAEC verification from waec regional/state office or it has to be from the Lagos office you guys normally mention here?

I'm based up north, and may be difficult getting someone process for me in lagos; hence my asking.

Thank you very much.
The letter he has to write does it have to be an affidavit
Or just a LOE?

Pls did your school send your transcript via email or courier? There's this gist that ICES works faster with email. We need to know if the gist holds water.

Can anyone chook mouth for this matter abeg...

Have you not passed the 12weeks timeline ? I remember that in your mail you said it was almost completed. I just got my report on Monday and it wasn’t even up to 12 weeks. Took a total of 10weeks.

Don't be discouraged by that experience. Try it. You might have a positive experience and be our guide in getting a direct reference from NYSC. No harm in trying.

kentoski:

Why do people always make things hard in this country? And I was looking for someone who has tried getting reference from NYSC to know what the experience was like. It's like that's a dead end, and I was basking in false glory yesterday, @Topsmamen

Amazing! Congrats on being a pacesetter in this process. Now let the dms flooooowwww!grin May the rest of the journey be smooth for you.

Kogigallll:
Hello good people,

Just for those who might be in need of this information.

Many people told me to use WES cos I wanted to evaluate a bsc direct entry... That no one had ever used ICES for that.

I wasn't about to delve into the waec wahala, so I just included my A level (ijmb) statement of result and my school included an LOE.

ICES has evaluated it positively in less 9 weeks...

It's good/safe to follow the crowd. But sometimes, a little daring action might just turn out pleasantly.

So I'm a first, at least we now know that ICES does evaluate favorably for direct entry graduates with a 3 year transcript.

Now, IELTS on my mind wink
