Are there layers or local birds? Looks like they are on free range. I cannot really know the problem except i can see your drug schedule?

29 days old pullets. There are about 50 on deep litter. I brought these two out so that others won't be affected.

I give anti biotic and anti coccidiosis every 2 days
I administer lasota vaccine at 14 days
Gumboro vaccine at 21 days.

I'm following this time table... https://www.nairaland.com/2513166/medication-vaccination-time-table-poultry#36770086

It is only antibiotics and anti coccidiosis that I give every 2 days. As for the rest I follow the above timetable

Discard that timetable. How can you give anti-cocci 3 days, leave 2 days and give for another three days ago with vaccine in between?

I no come understand again o cheesy.
Which timetable should I follow if I discard it? Good news, they are now active after feeding and anti biotics. Still not taking chance, I will get drugs for Newcastle disease and gumboro disease give and watch them for 3 days.

Pls do you know the batch number range of the affected feed. we have over 400 bags of their feed which we stop using after recording high mortality rate
Re: ... by Turks: 8:36pm On Mar 28, 2019
Bad batch.

Our clients are complaining bitterly.
femora007:
pls do u know the reason for the recall of some of their feed?
Re: ... by Turks: 8:36pm On Mar 28, 2019
They won’t come. Let’s not deceive ourselves.
Luwaluwa:

Here in Modakeke, Osun State,
We are also facing the same challenge here with chikun feed, we have lost over 1000 Birds as a result of using their feed. We even lodge complains to their reps to come and pack the rest of their feed, which is almost 500 bags. Till now, they have being posting us.
Re: ... by Turks: 8:37pm On Mar 28, 2019
They won’t come. Even Olam won’t admit to their mess up.
Luwaluwa:

I want to agree it's the same batch with yours because we collected it early February. We still have over 500 bags we stopped using after recording over 1000 mortalities.
Despite the fact that we held a meeting with their reps, of which they promised to evacuate the remaining feed, since 26th February, none of them have appeared here.
Re: ... by Turks: 8:40pm On Mar 28, 2019
It’s normal. The heat is getting to them.

Give cool water as well as watermelon among other fruits to help them cope with the heat.
sanni4susx:
Oga Saka, Oga Emma, oga Turk, and others pls help me o my birds keep panting and opening their mouth everyday (afternoon and night)
Broiler 38 days
Their growth is slow also I run organic poultry
Re: ... by Turks: 8:42pm On Mar 28, 2019
You have to make sure there’s adequate ventilation in your pen.

You have to treat the underlying issues otherwise, administering drugs would be a complete waste of time.
Jiang:
I have a serious CRD outbreak, sneezing, gasping for air, all that shyt, Being giving them tylosin with multivitamin for like two DayZ now. I think I will start giving them garlic+ ginger+atorodo+honey tonight when I change water.

The snoring sounds is a bit annoying
Re: ... by Turks: 8:43pm On Mar 28, 2019
Were not magicians. Only a postmterm or a sensitivity test can determine the cause of their huddling up.
PapalsBulls:
What could be wrong with these birds?
Re: ... by Turks: 8:45pm On Mar 28, 2019
Like Emma has said, get rid of that schedule you’re following, it’ll do more harm than good.

Re: ... by Turks: 8:50pm On Mar 28, 2019
Intestinal linings are shed very early in the morning; red blood like clot would be present in the flock’s poop which is normal and a lot of activeness noticed.

Any bird infected with cocci, already pooing blood would be lethargic, inactive and light weight.
crossblane1:
how can someone actually differentiate between coccidiosis and shedding of intestinal lining in broilers.
Re: ... by Turks: 8:53pm On Mar 28, 2019
Change your feed pronto!

They are passing greenish watering stool. From the research I did it is Newcastle disease.
Let me treat the infected ones. Is it advisable to also treat those that are not infected? After then I will give lasota vaccine maybe 3 days after.
What do you think?

Re: ... by Turks: 9:10pm On Mar 28, 2019
From your description, it seems they’re down with NCD. You’d have to treat the whole flock. Good thing the ones showing the signs have been isolated. Good move.

You have to lower the viral load on the birds before vaccinating them, especially the infected ones. It’s an automatic death sentence if you administer the vaccine without a lowering the viral load. Goodluck.

Thanks turks.
Should I administer lasota vaccine because it seems the first one fail if not, why should they be down with ncd when I already vaccinate against it?

Again, after those two I still observe two today at different times with same behaviour, altogether making 4 that are affected and isolated.
Re: ... by Turks: 9:39pm On Mar 28, 2019
Don’t. Not yet anyway. You have to give Polidine one iodesteryl for 5 days and then administer lasota in the 6th day.

The virus is gradually spreading. Act fast before it infects your flock in totality.
