Hi, Using the above illustration, if I'm claiming points for both Administrative Assistance and Secondary School teacher, are you saying I only need reference letter for the Administrative Assistance position and not necessarily the Secondary School position even if I'm claiming points for it??

Okay. So to max out the points under work experience for EE, you would need a minimum of 3 years work experience, right?

Ok. So lemme use an example to simplify this:

Administrative Assistant (1 year)
Secondary School Teacher (2 years)

Total Work Experience = 3 years.
Each of these jobs must have at least a 1-year full-time work experience.

Now it's up to you to select one as your primary NOC (which you will provide reference letter for). For instance, if you want to provide reference letter for the Administrative Assistant job ONLY, you will place this job in your Work History and place the Secondary School Teacher job in your Personal History.

So if you combine both jobs (i.e. placing the 2 jobs in your Work History), you will be required to upload and submit reference letters for both jobs.

After I received ITA and paid for the application fee, and I submitted like that thinking I will pay the right of permanent resident fee later, can I pay it next I receive salary or I have to wait until they request for it thanks.

You can pay upfront, then raise a CSE and attach the necessary doc. Ralprulz did same

Pls did your school send your transcript via email or courier? There's this gist that ICES works faster with email. We need to know if the gist holds water.

Can anyone chook mouth for this matter abeg...

Someone taught me this;

Please let your school use their OFFICIAL email address to scan your signed, stamped transcripts.

Immediately you know they have sent it, go to their website and follow the process there...
Don't print out form, do it online and PAY immediately.

Then send them a firm email after 72hours.

Took 8 weeks, 2days.

You seem to be complicating things, is it not simply that if you are using 2 or 3 different jobs in NOC 0 A or B to claim points you are required to get references for all the jobs you are claiming points for whether it is the primary or secondary NOC.

You can raise it or not. Do what gives you peace.

Since you submitted both accounts before, you are covered. If you get an ADR, you submit both accounts again. You can add a LOE to explain the transfer.

Please o; our POF is fixed in two accounts. Mine and my husband's; the one in my account has matured and has been rolled over. The one in my husband's account has also matured but we are thinking of transferring it to my account to fix as well because my bank gives higher interest.
Now my issue is hope it won't affect our application negatively cos I plan to raise a CSE to submit the new certificate. Our VO is Accra and we are 3 months post AOR. cc @Ifeoma.77 @joo2018 @Tops.mamen

Ok.

WES seems to be inconsistent. Someone reported a few days ago getting 6yrs BSc.

cutieplum:
O.D (Doctor Of Optometry) refers to the certificate of study or qualification that an Optometrist earns at the end of the 6 years study. Just as you'd get LLB for Lawyers or MBBS for Medical Doctors.

Provide reference letter for all work experience you are claiming points for.

Queencyco:

Please shed more light on this. Do you mean for example that if I am claiming points for " secondary school teacher" and "administrative assistant" , I only need to bring reference letter for the primary NOC? Meaning I don't need to prove the secondary NOC by providing a reference letter for it?

That's a professional body.

It should be under "Organizations" with a start date till date.

my wife has CITN, but she got exempted from writing the exams, because she has completed her ICAN.
However, she just did one day induction and was awarded a certificate
how would it be added in personal history ? 2013 January-2013 january
or can we just skip it?

OND is post-secondary.

If the job is NOC 0,A or B; you have evidence of payments and can get a reference letter. Why not?

You will put the year you graduated from the ND as the year you became qualified to practice. It may also make sense to evaluate the OND.

Yes, she can claim points for 3 years as her total work experience exceeds 3 years. She only needs to get reference letter in one of the jobs where her work experience is at least 1 year.

Topsmamen Bossman smiley I think the way it is worded might confuse some people lol.

Short answer is this.. If you are claiming points for an Experience. Upload a reference letter.

Eg: If you added your experience in 10 different jobs to make up your 3 years (extreme example), You are to upload 10 different reference letters. Just remember that out of those 10 jobs you had, you should have worked for at least one year in one of them.

For jobs you are not claiming points for, those are to be moved to personal history.

"should job description be in present or past tense if it is not a current job.?"

Past tense (according to resume rules) but it really doesn't matter if it's reference letter
