Underperforming is an understatement. We were terrible. There was a disconnect between the midfield and the attack. Until we get proper wingers, OGS should not try this useless 4-4-2 again.

Seems you’d prefer we play a high intensity game and lose a couple of important players to injury.

How many of the starting XI didn’t cop an injury in the last 4 weeks? Think na. Haba.

These players want to play speedy counter attacking football but their passing is very poor. I think they should just calm down and learn to play with each other first. They're always in a hurry to nothing.

Who’s even talking about the score line. Terrible passing, terrible marking and lackadaisical attitude. Against a team like Wolves, we will have lost this match by nothing less than 4 goals.

We’d have easily won 4-0 if they were fit and had loads of energy.

No excuses. Poor game overall though Jones, Shaw, and Smalling were good.

It does not take extra energy to make accurate passes so that energy conservation theory no work.

However we take the 3 points and move on to the next one.

If Matic and Herrera are starters next season we will struggle to make much progress.

I think our crop of players are the laziest among the elite teams in the whole world.. Their quality cannot be debated but their attitude and commitment is really really disappointing.. They never show enough hunger and sometimes it is like they just expect teams to roll over for them because Manchester United.. It's really disappointing -- only 2 clean sheets at home this season is not good at all..

I don't know what their problem is but if we are ever going to get to that peak again,, the manager needs to get pretty ruthless and go tough on these ninjas..

The midfield was at fault today. They couldn't hold the ball. And if they had it, they barely made successful passes.

Plus we are still saddled with too many average players. Lingard always acts like He's a Messi or Ronaldo prodigy when he really has the football sense of peak Aaron Lennon.

OGS he board needs to be ruthless in the summer. We need at least 6 to 8 new top players from defence to attack.
But if we go into next season with these lot, then we shouldn't expect much to change.

when I said I v my fingers cross over ole permanent appointment or pogba is nt an elite player some people here felt am negative.yes we won but a very performance. Our midfield was dead.frankly we shud offload martial n mata.

Naso we talk when Mourinho was around, until things became so bad that everyone started calling for his head. Play good football and win. Performances like this should come once in a while. There was an FA cup game (vs Reading) that we played BS throughout. We won 2:0, but it was BS, against Leicester City, it was drab footie, Rashford score from a counter and we won, against Tottenham, same thing, we need to be careful o, else, we will just be rinsing and repeating BS.

They were energetic in Ole’s First 5 games or so. You could see the incisive passing and runs into spaces to receive the ball during that period.

I think OGS managed them today. Most of them were half fit or a couple of tackles from an injury.

Since the night in Paris the play has been this way. I do hope they pick up the pace soon though. We play Wolves on Tuesday and I won’t be surprised to see a similar setup. I won’t mind though, as long as we win. There are still lots of matches to play.
