The most scary words to say in a plane is 'ALLAHU AKBAR'' Iheanacho will miss this AFCON if he does not start playing and scoring...take this to the bank 4 Likes |

TheGoodJoe: Iheanacho does not need to displace Vardy, if he's been brilliant in training he would have been getting 15 to 20 minutes of gametime 1 Like |

andrew444: Alaye, calm down...Why ur blood dy boil every time?? I only clarified something.... I might not like the way Chriskels is attacking Ighalo cus it's not healthy however he isn't wrong to say that Ighalo can't be relied upon at AFCON.. no be today we sabi am .. If not that Iheanacho dropped form,Ighalo might not have made it back into the team.... He is the kind of striker that goes on and off... He isn't reliable.. 1 Like |

Danielnino00: I always believe in welcoming competition and if Rodgers splashes the cash on a new hitman, it will be for the better of the team. There is vast amount of games for Nacho to still get a chance to make his name. What matters now is not whether a new striker will come in. Nacho should be prepared for battle. That is what being a top player is about. Welcoming competition and winning in the long run. Nacho needs to make himself an asset by building and insane work rate. Learn how to run without stopping. When he achieves this, he will likely get his chance. 2 Likes |

Earthquake2: I think the last game, they got a red card and reduced the chance for an offensive change. In this game, they got an early lead, so an attacking change was not sufficient. That 15-20 mins can come if Leicester City goes down early and they are in search for a goal or Vardy is exhausted and they need freshness up front. Until then, Nacho needs to keep improving on the training pitch. His time will come. 2 Likes |

gamaliel9: Working hard and improving as a player is more important than playing AFCON. Nacho's mind set should be on soaking in the knowledge of Rodgers. With time, he will improve and the Super Eagles will then need him as a necessity. 1 Like |

TheGoodJoe: Vardy is in his late 30s and Iheanacho is a 25 million pound player If Rodgers has the slightest interest in Iheanacho he would would have afforded him more game time than you suggested |

You are the one implying I said “friendly only” was I suppose to judge SE going into the WC based on their WC qualifiers? . If their performances does not inspire confidence I won’t say a different thing. We all hoped the SE will show us a different side at the WC proper. Some of us including myself was even opining the Rohr some cards kept to his chest. The truth is we already know Rohr’s capabilities. I won’t expect much barring surprises. And I hope I will be surprised because I really do want SE to do well. If u just expect a decent outing you shouldn’t be panicked by what I said earlier. I just have a very high expectation from Rohr based on ample support and time he’s had. Granted he has his strengths and I won’t take that away from him. He needs better assistants if we are going to progress from our past accomplishments. Icon4s: |

Earthquake2: More game time how? Pull out Vardy for game time sake? No need. For now Leicester City needs to keep their feet on the gas. 25 million pounds does not call for sentiments. By the way, Vardy turned 32 not long ago. A far cry for late thirties. 1 Like |

Joebie: The bolded just confirms what u imply. Meaning u had to discard their WC qualfiers performances and judged them only based on mere friendlies. Set targets if you want. Some of us have been following the AFCON for 4 decades and so we have seen the highs and lows of it. I will just advise you to relax, stop pressing the panic botton and enjoy the nations cup. We can only wish the team Success. 3 Likes |
