Israel cannot afford to fight a long sustained war against well trained and well equipped enemies, the last few battles they fought have seen them losing more soldiers and weapons. A well layered air defense systems will make sure you don't lose any battle against Israel. Their might lies in their Air Force.

We all know the military of those countries were inept,most are still inept. Israel knew well to destroy Egypt's Air Force before the Six day war started. They are also known to attack civilian infrastructure with immense fire power to put pressure on the leaders of the enemy countries. A nation whose amount gets replenished for free by US everytime they go to war. Why do you think they have nukes?

Even by US standards the war was a statement. Israel tried attacking Lebanon with 30000 troups and were repelled by a few hundred militias, tell me how that isn't an embarrassing defeat for any country.

Israel didn't win. Why are you worked up that they didn't? What was Israel's aim of fighting that war? To crush hezbollah. Did they succeed? NO. That war ended in a stale mate. Hezbollah proved to be a better fighting force than Israel expected.
