JustMellow: Thank you!!!! Yeah, this is my first application and I am soo lost. I worked part time for a year on a research project. It wasn't connected to my first degree. I was just interested in research. However, the program I was admitted to is research intensive. I also currently work as an administrative assistant whixh I have been doing for over the past year. My university can't provide any type of transcript for me as they aren't authorized to do so. I study at a branch of an international university and all transcripts come from the main campus. I can wait till the end of April so I can apply without my official transcript but I am scared there wont be enough time. |

I also applied to University of Saskatchewan, had a webex interview last week Wednesday and was told decision will be taken this week. My profile is still reading compete ready for review. The wait is too long. |

Mofpearl: it would be sage if you get your official transcript since by the time of your application, the state of result might not be present. You can still make it by April/May. My final opinion sticks with my previous assertion. Hope it was clear?! |

JustMellow:Yeah, it was clear. I should enter student as my employment and part time job as previous employment. Thanks a lot. |

This is noted and thanks for the suggestion. A timeline for paper and online has already been differentiated in the "calculations" section. Please feel free to explain better what you have in mind... yacha77: |

I had this same problem. Although I didn't get interviewed for my course, but I did not wait for long after my application. I sent them a Mail stating hw keen I was to study in the term I applied for (fall winter spring etc) I also stated how long Nigerias visa process takes. I urged them to give me feedback so I can plan accordingly. I got the letter in less than two weeks. Hope this helps. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Hello This is to my fellow May/June/ July applicants. What can really be done for this people to actually attend to our applications.. When I applied last year July, I was thinking this Canadian student permit was a first come first serve procedure, but its obvious I was totally wrong.. Peeps applying 2 months ago are already getting approvals, while ours is still being ignored.. What can really be done to make changes, cos its really tiring and frustrating for ur application to be 8-10 months without any response form them.. And please no one should get me wrong when i said peeps that apply 2 months ago are getting approvals, am not envious of them(at all, its actually giving me hope of my approval) but if they were in our shoes, they will feel same.. So my fellow comrades what can really be done for us to see changes.. Does any one have direct social contacts of the immigration minister or prime minister for us to vent our complains, or what can really be done... Please lets come up with a suggestion and follow suit.. Cos the truth be told, this wait is getting annoying to be honest.. Peace 5 Likes |

makano: This is not fair. I feel your pain badly. Maybe you should try going to the VAC to lay a complain, look for any top person there that might be willing to help, I feel those guys too have little power. This is totally not fair but I pray goodnews comes out from these applications 3 Likes |

makano: My chairman, I will humbly suggest all May/June and July hopefuls should come together and go straight to the office of the consulate in VI (VAC may not work out) At these stage of Distress and knowingly frustration from London VOs, no security/police will stop May/June and July from seeing any VO in the consulate. Then the VO should explain why London VOs are keeping the applications up till date... Or if they are too busy for Nigerians they should send the applications to Nairobi office or rather collect the application details of people that came for it. This is my 2kobo suggestion |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by makano: 12:38am On Apr 03, 2019 |
I don't think VAC is the best option tho, theirs is to get visa applications and transport it to the various Visa offices SO i dnt think they have that power.. Going to their office at Anifowose will do it.. Thanks tho for ur suggestion.. ghabrhiel10: |

I think if you've applied before and you've been refused then you have a UCI, if not, leave it blank. Just write the name of your school in full in caps. Make sure the application form is the most recent. I don't understand the part about Taiwan and Israel. Write how much your uncle is sponsoring you with. For room and board, it's sometimes included in the acceptance letter, if it isn't, you can check the school website for hostel accommodation cost. If you're not employing the services of an agent, no need to fill the authority to release personal information form. There's a place for other forms on the website/application portal. Sibling and family members' certificate isn't compulsory. I attached mine because I wanted to prove something I wrote in my SOP. geofortress: |

While you guys are brainstorming, you can also lay complaints on twitter. Look for their twitter handle and maybe write something to them. makano: |
