sleekysoft: Honestly International students are rich ... I am just here wondering how people do it. People pay about 16,000CAD (in colleges) x 2 = 32,000CAD (8 months program back to back). There is a Nairalander here who attends UWO and pays 30,000CAD for just 12 months taught masters (about 8.5M). This is without accommodation and feeding money. Honestly, international students dey try. How many people can afford this? An Indian friend told me most of them get student loans with interest. I wish Nigerian banks can do that as well for students. God help us 7 Likes 1 Share |

Please feel free, we've all been there. Yes it's a long process, but start first. Everything might take 3days or 3weeks. It depends on how much preparation you put in. But START so you know the documents you need. There are 4 stages. The first is the questionnaire stage. They ask all sort of questions. This determines whether you are eligible for what you are applying for. If you're eligible youre moved to the 2nd stage. 2nd stage present you with about 4-6 different application forms. 3rd stage is preparation of all the documents you're attaching to the forms in your 2nd stage. You need passport photo according to their specification. Acceptance letter from school, Bio data page of International passport, Proof of finance i.e Statement of account of yourself or your sponsor, CLIENT INFORMATION statement of purpose (SOP) or LETTER OF EXPLANATION (LOE) and so on. The 4th stage is payment. YOU CAN NOT GET TO THIS STAGE IF YOU DO NOT PROPERLY FILL THE FORMS. IT WILL NOT SHOW THE PAYMENT LINK. AND IT IS WHEN YOU START YOU WILL GET TO UNDERSTAND WHAT I'VE STATED SO FAR. Cheers. blessedlibra: 4 Likes |

sorry for that you would have printed the page showing your medicals is still valid and added. it is not too late you can still do that but I am afraid it would delay your application a bit Gunit87: |

chibertha: Sorry its not medicals, its Biometrics. Meanwhile, I paid the $85 now but my concern is why requesting again when validity is 10 years.

I applied thrice and did biometrics thrice; twice in 2017 and one in 2018. Please do the biometrics, I don't think they want to scam you. The longer this waits, the longer the start of your application processing is delayed. Good luck. Gunit87: 1 Like |

Hello fam Please the gurus in the house should throw more light on this. I want to ask a question, I am self sponsored own a tech business which has been running for some time now, the inflow and outflow in my company's account and my personal account is good but the balance after paying my 1st semester tuition fee is not encouraging. I applied for a 1 year PGD in GB College My estimated cost of studies is 23,940 CAD for 1 year PGD program. I have paid 8476 CAD as 1st semester fees and the balance tuition fee is 15464 CAD plus living expenses 10,000 CAD which makes it 25464 CAD approximately 7M naira How much am I to get in my account I currently have roughly 6.5M in both my personal and my business account As the owner of the business and sole signatory to the business account I am transferring most funds to my personal account for my studies. Is it advisable to apply for my study permit with an SOA that has 6.5M Please I need your advice, am abit confused my program is starting by September 3rd 2019. |

Anamekele: Hi! From personal experience, I advise you either do an upfront medical and submit together with your application at once or wait until you’re requested to do so, in order to avoid delay in your application. |

Good morning. Before paying the 85 dolls, I think it’s best you check the validity of your biometric on cic website. I didn’t pay additional money for my application because I’d applied in 2016. It shows valid Gunit87: |
