Dear Seniors in the house.

We have been waiting in the Pool with a CRS of 448 since February 16th and from the trend, I don't think I can wait any longer.

My spouse alone did the IELTS that gave us the CRS score, I don't want to miss the next drraw hence wants to register for CBT without preparing just to earn 5-10points and boost our CRS for next draw.

Please, can I just walk in and write normal English and score at least 5 points to enable us get ITA in a fortnight?
The ball is in your court. You would eventually need ielts during your citizenship application. Irrespective of the exam being expired by then, it would still be valid so far you used it in appIying to IRCC. I believe you would use one Stone to kill two birds.

FOR COUPLES.

I believe everyone in this pursuit, is aspiring to be a Canadian. My point is,even if your spouse's score is high enough to get you an invitation, you should ensure you both write ielts, because its one of the requirements to apply for citizenship. Though the result would be expired by then, IRCC would waive it, since it has been used previously, and it's in their database.
In order words, both spouses should write, not just for permanent residency application alone, but also for citizenship.
Goodluck

Good Morning guys, congratulations to the ITA & PPR holders.

I sent a mail to ottawa to inquire about my application as it’s over 5 months. Just look at what they replied embarassed Please guys, what could be the problem? Did anyone ever experience this?

I doubt if anyone here can tell. Order for GCMS notes (https://www.gcmsbuddy.com) so you can dig in.

And, oh, don't forget your prayer room/corner.

Pls I want to be sure of this. Can I combine the following work experience:

1. Class teacher march 2011 to March 2012 (1year)

2. Class Teacher: 01 Feb 2013 to 29 Nov 2013 (10 months)

3. Adm assistant August 2014 to August 2014 (1 year)

4. Adm assistant August 2018 till date (9 months)

No 3 was a mistake. it's 06/2014 to 08/2015.

Can I claim points for work done while Msc studies was on?

Relax and make a plan to replace it as you can't predict if you will get an ADR.

That $181 difference might not be enough buffer as no one has access to the exchange rate IRCC uses

My funds is in USdollars.
I used google to calculate how much was remaining in CAD.
Please help me

NOC 1241. 3 years work experience. No ties to Alberta whatsoever. I guess they just pick from the pool.

Good morning All and congrats to the ITA clinchers.

Please I have a question.

There was an error with the date of birth on my waec result however, I have my original birth certificate with the correct information. Now my issue is will the original certificate clear this issue or I will need to upload an affidavit for declaration of Age?

Thank you for your swift response.

Yes you can. Everything combined is more than 3 years. You can combine NOCs, just get reference letters from all employers.

You can also claim points for work done during MSc. Its only CEC applicants that cannot.

I hope this helps.

Hi. I don't understand this last post.

The funds being in USD doesn't change anything. Just top it up as soon as possible. You might not increase it back to the original amount...maybe like $200 above what you currently have. As an insurance.
