Let us look at the bigger picture, and this is the "Nigerian Economy". The Economy is weak and filled with uncertainty. Above all, foreign investors don't trust the government. The strategy here is to have huge cash in your arsenal and wait for the bottom of the stocks you're Targeting. 1 Like |

mendes911: Do you think there will be devaluation? There is QE in EU area. Fed has stopped rate hike. All developed economies will soon start printing money again. Where the money go go? Fixed income instruments in Nigeria just saw small part of that and yields are dropping. The whole world will be awashed with liquidity soon. These will be used to bid up prices everywhere in the world and after that comes the bursting of the major bubble. By then I go dey watch people for TV. 1 Like 1 Share |

Onuokwu: You can count the number of quoted companies in Nigeria that practice proper governance on the fingers on one hand only. Any quoted company controlled by a family or a dominant individual poses a high risk to financial returns no matter how well they may appear to be doing. The information asymmetry is just too much for a sane investor to deal with. 2 Likes 1 Share |
