This visa is nothing but God and it’s a intellectual war between me and the VO that handled my application.

I want to use this measure to thank honorable justwise without you, this thread wouldn’t be possible. Thank you sir for the opportunity. I feel you don’t like me but I love you.

I also want to thank the man I value and treasure sir Frankrobben. Bro you be angel (no too much talk)

I also want to thank my manny Jibola AKA sleeksoft thank you brother. You inspired me a lot, thanks my brother thank you my brother.

I also want to thank man like galala123 and canadabyfire I learned a lot from you guys

I also want to thank my Algonquin brother 042viber I can’t wait to welcome you to our school. Your visa is next in line.

I want to thank the man of action Makano thank you so much for everything, your visa is next in line. God that didn’t neglect me will never neglect you and 024viber

I want to thank anita and deborah thanks for your prayers, I will do everything within my power to congratulate you girls in Canada.

Mcobex bbcue, Mr j, justmellow (English man) and the rest..., thank you for your selfless contribution.

The one and only Naijaforeigner, this guy is Phenomenal thank you for your selfless service
I’ve leaned a lot from you.

Bracha thank you so much for your selfless service. Thank you. Fine girl with the good heart.

To every hopefuls don’t give up on your dreams.

To all May June and July applicant slide in my pm, I have a secret for you guys.

I actually went to anifowoshe on Wednesday. The person I met just like me at first sight and he told me the secret then he prayed for me and wish me good luck. I may go back there and tell him thank you.

This visa suffered me.
The day I did my biometrics, VAC was still working till 8 pm that day, I left home around 7 and left VAC 7 pm. I was sleeping on steering... I almost had an accident that very day but God came through for me. So whenever I remember that day and imagine why my visa is still pending, tears will drop from my eyes and I will look up to God.

I contacted more than 150 MPs (senators) in Canada then on Wednesday I gathered mind and drive straight to Anifowoshe.

I was in the movies watching “Hotel Mumbai” as soon as they finished the movie, I saw the alert in my email address.

I will recommend you guys to watch that movie and thank me later.

God is indeed faithful
Nara ekele chineke.
May June July, don’t lose hope, your visa is sooner. Don’t forget to hit my pm.

sillysassysally:
TRV processing time update 05/04/2019

We now have a sample of 30 hopefuls!

I would encourage those that have applied this year to share their timeline (with details such as; Application Route, whether you're a new or re-applicant, School Resumption Date, Application Date, Biometrics Request Date, Biometrics Done Date, Medical Request, Medicals Done, Medicals Passed, PPR or the Current Status of your application). If you don't have all this information, you can just share the ones that you have and update the rest as you receive it. This information would help us study or attempt to establish a pattern to how CIC operates. (Please note that the calculated estimates are just averages based on the little sample we have. Your processing time may be faster or slower than the average)

For those that have already submitted their timeline, kindly share if you are a new applicant or a re-applicant. Also, please share when you are expected to resume school. This would help us understand if there is a relationship between processing time and resumption date. (Cc Dedecoder, Godatwork23, Oni2019, Yacha77, Dmerciful, docsaj, Klem28, Trishaben, Omarzx, ify85, Samolala2019, umulobi, Tlontin)

Finally, If there is anything you think i should add to the data or calculate from the data or if there is a better way you think I can present the data, I am always open to suggestions.

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by chibertha(f): 9:09pm On Apr 05, 2019
Below is what I think was in the mind of the VO, others can as well add or remove from it, so work on these and refire.

1) single n dependents - you are single without dependents that will necessitate your return after study hence no ties back home as regards this point

2) No support for previous travel history to assess as a positive - it means you did not put in copies of your previous visa and immigration stamped pages, but you listed countries you have travelled to.

3) No support for personal income or employment funds from a third party - you did not explain all the money that comes into your account/s on the statement of you submitted eg payslip, letter from employer, proof of business registration etc , third party here means co-sponsors if any they too must show where the money is and will come from by adding the things I mentioned earlier as the case may be.

4) Assessment of obligation is not practical - may mean that the relationship of your co-sponsor to you does not obligate him/her to sponsor you eg if you used a company then you must show why they are going out of there way to do such, if a distant relative whose last name is not same as yours you would show convincingly on a family tree how you guys are related and the person would include an affidavit of support.

5) a)-Not satisfied of provenance
- you could not explain the origin of some large sum of money that reflected in your account

b)- or and thus availability of funds to meet requirements of R220 - means the VO could not ascertain that you would have money available to you to complete your study without resorting to public funds thus you might either abandon the course or not finish in the stipulated time hence would need to extend your visa.

6) over all the applicant has weak ties to motivate return to current country of residence or country of citizenship - means you don't have relations like aged parents, you don't have a strong striving business, no good paying permanent and pensionable job, no landed properties, no spouse and kids that would be left behind ........................

7) academic and professional history - simply means that your choice, of course, does not match your previous study and would not enhance your profession or carrier when you finish.

8. ) explanation provided- your SOP did not do justice to why you chose the course you are going for it should contain why you chose it and what you intend to use it to solve on return to your home.

I had barely 300k in my personal account, 15m in my late father estate account , second sponsor is my brother who is signatory to the estate account , his acct has bout 3m and over 40m ARM investment . Please guru let's analyse this and yes I have ordered gcms immediately. Please check the letter I posted also. Thanks

Your denial is simple and also complicated. Using an estate account signifies funds that are available for general upkeep for you and your family. The fact that the funds is also been accessed by third parties aside from you means anything can happen and you might not be able to fund yourself in canada. My advice would be this:
1. You have to pay your 1st semester school fees.
2. Have a substantial amount transferred into a savings account to show the money is readily available.
3. I'll suggest your mum write a compelling letter of sponsor; something emotional probably your late dad (May his soul rest in peace) always wanted you to get the best of education and if he was alive he'd be proud to sponsor you..... I hope you get the drift, this people are human beings like us.
4. Attach a Family picture showing your late dad and his death certificate
5. If you have a family business that's registered you can use it as part of your home ties. If you are going for a management/business or any innovative program then you can add it to your SOP that you want to add innovative ideas to the family business and lift the pressure of your mum etc... and that your dad would be proud.

I hope you get more advice from this forum. Good luck.
P.S: It is left to you to proove to the VO that there woll not be pressure on your family to sponsor an expensive educational program in Canada. You have to attach proof that your siblings and all are doing well financially and gainfully employed because the VO is skeptical that the pressure might be too much. It is also advisable to have funds in traditional banks that can be easily verified than investment companies.

Applied for visitor visa in 2017 however this is first time for study permit but used same biometrics. Resumption is May 2019. Douglas College in British Columbia is the school! Anybody going to Vancouver here? Let's connect
sillysassysally:

Frankrobbn1,I wrote an sop relating agricultural science with environmental technology because I did some environmental courses and waste management during my undergraduate days.I related my nysc and final year research with it because it's all about dealing with environment and community. Is it compulsory to pay tuition before applying for a study permit?

It's good to know you're making successive progress with your application. With regards to question, payment of tuition fees prior to visa application is not a prerequisite to visa approval. Having said that, if your school doesn't require you to pay an upfront tuition deposit before the start of term, you don't have to do that. Simply submit your application with other supporting documents and bank statements showing clearly that you've adequate funds to cover for the first year tuition and living expenses and the possibility of funding for subsequent years is attainable.
