Hello Nairaland Family, I have a huge passion in studying in the U.S but financially I'm not okay and it's driving me crazy, I have make researches day and night if there are opportunities or possibly loan i could get and payback. I'm not lazy i would pay back in time but none gave without a cosigner.

The biggest problem I'm having right now is that, It's only me that have interest in this my parent doesn't seems to care about my passion towards this because they believe they don't have the millions and not ready to support my passion

I'm set to take the SAT I've been studying for the exam for the past 4months now but haven't seen any opportunity to register due to financial incapability...

Pls can anyone generous register me for the SAT...I know I might not have anything to reward the person but the God of Favour will favour the person in returns....
I strongly believe, I'll pass the exam with a great grade and qualify for scholarship...

Hi everyone, a lecturer at the of mine would be coming to Southern Methodist University at Dallas, TX as a research associate starting by early May, 2019.

I am wondering if anyone could help him get through the very few days of settling in the US.

He/she should prepare to answer the questions as they may come. He should know everything everything the primary applicant on F1, how long she's been there, program, etc. A transcript for f2 is not the same for f1.

me: To pursue an undergraduate degree in Health science
VO: What is the name of the school you are going to?
me: Rowan college at Gloucester county New Jersey
VO:How did you know about the school?
me: it was recommended by my Aunt
VO: what program are you enrolled for?
me: Health sciences
VO: Did you get scholarships? if not why?
me: No I didn't apply for scholarship because the fee for my study is reasonable and affordable by my aunt and uncle
VO: What's your highest level of study?
me: High school
VO: when did you graduate?
me: 2017
VO: why are you interested in that particular major?
me: Health sciences deals with human and animal health. there are parts in health science: the study, research, knowledge of the health and the application of the knowledge to improve health and understanding how humans and animals function. Am deeply interested in the human brain and this course will help me locate the information needed to make decisions related to that.
VO: how many schools did you apply to?
me: 1
VO; why did you choose the school?
me: They meet my career goals. they focus on personalise learning experience having a faculty student ratio of 28:1
VO: what are your test scores
me: TOEFL 84
VO: who is your sponsor?
me: Aunt and Uncle
VO: sponsors and work
me: Nurse and uncle works in New Jersey state service
VO: Do you have any relative in US?
me:yes, Aunt
VO: How can you prove that you will come back to Nigeria after completing your degree?
me: Yes sir I will definitely come back, because I have my family here. As the first born of 6 children of my parent. It is my moral duty to take care of my family
VO: come back on Friday for ur Visa

Though they might not ask you that question but if they do, don't say that. Say something like i wasn't awarded any scholarship though I applied but since the tuition is affordable, your aunt and uncle are willing to sponsor you

Hi guys. .. .pls I want to know. Can I schedule a visa appointment while waiting for my I-20 to arrive or should I just wait for the I-20 before starting any visa process.

Guys is it possible for my sponsor to liquidate her investment on a fixed deposit into her account this week and come with the fixed deposite bank statement and I take it for a visa interview end of the month. Please what do you guys think of this any issues?

Also when I add my 2 sponsors bank statement together it will amount to 50kusd in total and my i20 states 49k. Is there any issue with this?

I don't think transferring is the best option for you only if you don't want scholarships... To the best of my knowledge i don't think schools gives scholarship to transfer students...

If you’ve not heard back from MTU by this time, you’ve probably been waitlisted.
Their chemistry program is so small and they’re stingy with funding as you know. Did you apply to other schools?
