Okay. Thanks. When I reach POF stage will know what it means

captainhoo:

If you are married and your spouse won't go to Canada with you. You apply as married but accompanying spouse, not as a single. However, your POF will include that of the spouse

Please I am new on this platform. I'm preparing to write IELTS test next month. I don't have much information on how to go about Canada express but I have decided to start from somewhere. We are family of four, my wife and I have Msc and about 5yrs work experience.

I will appreciate any useful information for learner like me.

Thank you

So my Wes came back today as 2 bachelor's degree of 4 years each, however the names on the two certificates slightly differ. Can I use a one and same person affidavit for this?

NOC 2282 - 6 months
NOC 4031 - 12 months
NOC 6621 - 13 months
NOC 4012 -
Sept - Dec 2017 - 2 months full time
Jan - April 2018 - 2.6 months full time
Sept - Dec 2018 - 2 months full time
Jan 2019 - April - 1.3 months full time

You need 36 months to claim 3 years. You have a little above 36 months from my calculations. I did this quickly so please crosscheck.
I did not check the educational requirements for each NOC. Please make sure you do you can claim these experiences.

The formula I used was [No of months x No of hours worked] ÷30 You can use this to calculate yourself.
PS: Divide by 12 to give you number of weeks.

Teamo2:

Paid Industrial training(NOC 2282, 40hrs/wk): 6months, reference letter can easily be gotten.

NYSC(NOC 4031, 40hrs/wk): 11/12months, reference letter not available but plan on writing it myself and notarize it with bank statement to support my claim.

Retail sale supervisor (NOC 6621, 50hrs/wk, paid family business ): 13 months, reference letter available, paid in cash.

Research assistant, (NOC 4012):
September 2017 - December 2017 (20hrs/wk)
January 2018 - April 2018 (20hrs/wk)
September 2018 - December 2018 (20hrs/wk)
January 2019 - current (Spring semester)(10hrs/wk)

I believe i should be able to use all this to claim 3yrs of work experience right?

It can be remarked but chances of your score changing is very low. Think of it as Objective vs Subjective.
Objective = Listening and Reading
Subjective = Writing and Speaking

kentoski:

I heard something like Listening and Reading can't be remarked, how true is that?

Please, can I pm you?

My brother is planning to take this route and he has the same exemptions (f1 - f6), I'd like to know if he does only f7 - f9, it'll still be evaluated favorably

Thanks

hayoakins:

ACCA affiliate or membership will be evaluated as 4years bachelors degree (as per my evaluation report) while F1-F9 (Advance Diploma) is evaluated as 3years Bachelors degree (as seen on Canadavisa forum).

Cheers.

Please who has paid WES with Western union?
I have been given 72 hours to make payment with a reference number but money was changes to $200.66 US instead of 256.61CAD. I just calculated 200.66USD with N360 and it's given me about 72k plus.
Before I decided to pay with Western union, I tried paying with my Gtbank master card it it didn't go through. I used the correct address and from the site, it's only Credit card you'd see. No debit card option. I had to use Western union so I can generate the WES REFERENCE NUMBER wink

I cannot even cancel the western union part and card is not paying, what should I do please? How do I pay with my card successfully?

Ifeoma77:

Option 1: jump into the pool now, get ITA, submit your application, then get married and add her post AOR.
Option 1b: even if the wedding doesn't hold till you get COPR, you can still add her before landing.
Pros: she won't need to do Wes or IELTS.
Cons: you both might be invited for interview in Accra (emphasis on 'might'. You could get lucky)

Option 2: Get married asap and apply as a couple. With your high score, she won't need to do both ECA and IELTS. Pick one and move on.
Pros: You eliminate the interview 'threat'.
Cons: you would have to wait till after the wedding, to start.

Option 3: Apply, get COPR and land. Then get married and sponsor her to Canada.
Pros: none
Cons: too many to count

Ah many thanks Ify. I guess option 1 is best.

I just did mine now sef with GTB naira mastercard choose the credit card option like that jor. It will still accept it. In my case, i had to check which of my accounts was the default account on my card cos my current and savings are linked to one debit card. Since my current is the default account, thats the place i credited. Easy peeasy! Alert dropped in 15mins!

Thanks for taking you time to help me calculate. I also got 7months for NOC 4012.

Regarding the “educational” /employment requirement, I saw the screenshot attached on canada,.ca website.

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/permanent-residence/economic-classes/federal-skilled-workers/assessing-applications-against-minimum-requirements.html

Btw... I’ve been trying to send you a pm.

Thank you, appreciate your effort
