A two hundred level student of Food Science Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Calabar, Miss Rebecca Chukwueke has fallen.

She was unconscious as at 12:27am in the early hours of Saturday, April 6, 2019 when she was rushed to the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital (UCTH).

However, the nurse/doctors refused to examine the patient with an excuse that they are on strike, they had to leave UCTH for general hospital, yet the same excuse and finally, they took her to Navy Hospital, High way where she was confirmed dead.

For this country matter, I....

Desperate times require desperate measures.

I expect the hospital to be void of doctors or nurses as at the time of a union strike.
However, they have made their point and the government should quickly look into their requests.

Any government that takes medical practitioners for granted is simply going to wake up to dead bodies.

The government did not fail her, the greed and the animal nature of Nigerian health workers did. They are the highest paid sector in the country but they always want more.Check the salary scale of health workers and you'll see what I mean. They are like most Nigerians,greedy, self serviing selfish animals.

The Nigerian government has failed her. The Nigerian government has failed millions of citizens out there. Can I boldly say that I'm proud of being a Nigerian? No.

My only prayer is that she makes it to heaven. You cannot suffer and die in this country and still go to hell fire. It's not fair. There will be serious problems on judgement day because plenty Nigerians no go gree.
