Nigeria and Niger Republic have been urged to fast track the construction of the Katsina Refinery to improve economic relations between the two nations. THE MONEY BEING WASTED IN BUILDING THE REFINERY IN KATSINA STATE WILL BE MORE PROFITABLE IF INVESTED IN AGRICULTURE. WHY BUILD REFINERY IN SUCH A STATE THAT HAS NO CRUDE OIL DEPOSIT. THE NORTH HAS ALWAYS BEEN AGAINST ITS OWN PROGRESS. IF ANY STATES WILL CONSIDER BUILDING A REFINERY IT IS STATES LIKE EDO STATE NOT KATSINA STATE. |

Awol1: Niger Republic has never been part of Commonwealth. The incident you were referring to was about OAU (now AU) not Commonwealth. 1 Like 1 Share |

AFONJACOW:Don't let petty ethnic hatred kill you. The oil from the Niger delta is being sold on a daily basis to unknown companies and refineries in India, europe and other parts of the world; you have absolutely no problem with that. But now, a Nigerian sets up a private refinery in Katsina and you are already swearing and protesting that Niger Delta crude should not be sold to them simply BECAUSE THEY ARE FELLOW BLACK NIGERIANS... The black man truly has a serious problem. Like I said before, may your ethnic hatred not kill you! ...and by the way, the ethnic hatred is already muddling your focus, the title and body of the report clearly states that the crude will be piped from nearby oilfields in Niger. 4 Likes 1 Share |

GavelSlam: I salute you for being steadfast and removing the wool from his eyes with such thorough schooling backed with facts. Most of our youths, especially of his ilk, are unfortunately being spoon fed with misinformation in order to manipulate them for political reasons. Some of them appear to have lost their objectivity and deductive reasoning to the level of gullibility where they are easily fooled and vulnerable to a lot of the divisive propaganda visited upon them through hearsay and bad press. Thank you for setting aside one of such false narratives. 1 Like 1 Share |
